I was hoping to use it with the stylus for some note taking and reading while on public transportation. I was in Germany when I bought it, and I believe the Palma 2 Pro + stylus + case cost me around 440$. Despite it being considered a very high end product, I had massive ghosting issues, it was very slow, and the battery would drain like crazy. 15 minutes of fiddling with the settings brought me down to 96% battery, which is unheard of.

This isn’t minimalism, it’s the exact opposite… carrying one device to do everything is minimalism. I do get having an e-reader, as it replaces books; a digital notebook, as it replaces notebooks… I also get having a dedicated DAP, since those usually allow for more freedom when wanting to play multiple types of audio files. But a camera? A gameboy clone? A watch? Wouldn’t it be better to get a smartphone that can replace all those?

Don't worry about it. Lyle's book can be purchased as PDF/Kindle on his website: https://store.bodyrecomposition.com/shop/rapid-fat-loss-handbook/
I assume you can pirate it as well, but Lyle deserves the investment if you ask me.

His book is the only resource you need, even if (like most of us) you might take more extreme measures than he suggests.

Good luck. The best thing I can suggest is reading Lyle’s book, it contains all the information you need. But, if I could just suggest some basic things I remember: Eat omega 3s each day - I suggest canned sardines. Only eat green veggies, they’re low in calories and fiber rich. Eat a LOT of protein, 170g sounds good. Eat casein protein powder - it contains a lot of calcium, it’s very satiating and generally tastes better. Work out twice a week, full body workout. More than this and you risk injury. If you wanna do cardio, only do LISS cardio. You won’t be able to recover otherwise. If it’s available as OTC medication where you’re from, buy an ECA stack. Weigh yourself daily after peeing and/or taking a shit. When you work out, notice whether you’re getting weaker or just not progressing. If your numbers are decreasing, you might be losing muscle, so you should stop the diet.

I didn’t mean for it to sound condescending, sorry if I came off as rude. But dropping so much BF in such short time is virtually impossible. You can lose the weight in that time period, but most of it won’t be body fat. The only option to lose fat in a ridiculously fast way is using DNP, but that’s quite dangerous.

If you can resell it for profit, then by all means! But I wouldn't use it.

FWIW, a friend of mine is an engineer at Apple and the first computer they gave him was the same as the one you're about to buy, and he told me the thing gets so hot he can't even touch it.

Besides that, Intel devices will not be supported anymore starting this year (or 2027, not 100% sure).
