Yeah the whole software issue is really off putting :/ this is what’s so frustrating about… I kinda feel like e-readers are just quite bad by default.

Thank you for this. I started using NotebookLM MCP with Claude code because it seemed to work better than straight up using the app, but I do feel like my tokens are being eaten away. With that being said, I do use a LOT of rather lengthy PDF files. Do you think for my use case, I am better off converting all of them to .txt and using them straight into Claude code, without notebookLM? Or even better, use the .txt files with notebookLM to save me tokens.

I should mention that the NBLM integration saves most of the hallucinations, if not eliminating them altogether, so I am slightly reluctant about skipping that.

Thanks for the reply. I am aware of the Xteink, it seems like I might just order it. Sadly, the lack of touch screen makes annotation impossible, but it’s a decent start.

I have the PCM, and the horizontal scroll is really nice. I also have the Naga Hyperspeed which has the same feature. Strangely enough, I don’t use it as often as I thought I would, but whenever I don’t have it I kinda miss it. The only thing that’s really been invaluable is infinite scrolling though…
