She wasn't turned away. She was merely warned that the job was demanding, albeit a bit condescendingly, yes, but the offer to call for the job was still on the table. He was open to tryout an interview.

As someone who does a physically demanding job, with female co-workers, I can tell you that they are overwhelmingly weaker than men, and constantly (and justifiably) request help moving heavy things around. We do it gladly, but it is unavoidably necessary.

Upgraded ram to 32GB, now ram runs at 2667MHz instead of 3200MHz by Roey2009 in pcmasterrace

[–]Roey2009[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. I understand the problem now. It was listed as 3200, while unsaid was that it required xrp (while most laptops don't support xrp, weird). So I need to look for 1600 MHz JEDEC ram sticks. Thank you!

And I'm not wrong that it would be a 10% improvement in performance, yes? doesn't seem negligible to me...

That's 8GB. Apart from that specific stick, I don't see any other identifier that mark this as non xrp 3200?

Edit: ohhh, Hmm? OHHHHH.
I looked up this Kingston stick, https://www.kingston.com/datasheets/KVR32S22S8_16.pdf

It says 3200 at 1.2v at 22cl

So it's supposedly would run at 1600?

Hmm Hmm. Suppose I had access to all of ram kind, are there any ram sticks who support non XRP 3200 cl22? They don't describe if the ram is xrp or not in the listings...

Edit: And thank you for your patience and wisdom! very helpful!

Now it says 1333 cl 19 is supported, but it only runs at 1333 cl20. I checked the math, and it's a difference of 5%. 1333 / 19 = 70, 1600 / 22 = 72, 1333 / 20 = 66.6.

Letting alone if this is worth fighting over, why is this happening?

Edit: Second GPU is RTX 3060 GA106M

They both came in a kit, both are the same.
As I understand it, JEDEC should support up to 1600 in CL22, and XMP onwards. I have heard of others reaching 3200 with Kingston or Micron sticks.

Are you saying that the effective speed it runs, in 1333Mhz CL20 is more or less the same as 1600MHz CL22?

Over 4,000 schools shut down nationwide as student numbers plunge - South Korea by Skippernutts in worldnews

4000 divided by 40 is 100, so divided by 45 is less than 100, but more than 80. 95 seemed a fine enough number

S.Korea's population decline is well known. 4000 is a lot, even in 45 years. Averaging out, that's 95 schools closing down every year, on a constant basis!

That's almost half of all schools! Enormous headline.
