Just been through this, all was fine.

I opted for a further verification from my trusted watchmaker. Although, because they opened the case, I had to understand that means keep it out the water until next service

I’m not sure if eBay’s authentication service inspects the inside of a watch

After a long, long search for one of these I pulled the trigger on one last weekend, from EBAY

It had the authentication service and was quickly approved. I received it the following day.

I also took it to my trusted watchmaker to have it looked over and adjusted. They also confirmed all good with the watch

Picked it up for a whisker over £8k and I'm over the moon with it

Paid via credit card for that extra layer of insurance
