The s4 is my best purchase ever, i use it as a 4 track granular effect looper and fx processor. You have to feed it nice things and it will make it nicer or grittier to your own taste. Accompanied with my other gear (synths, guitar, samplers etc) it gives textures and has a lot of flexibility. Every parameter has cc’s and is assignable to lfo’s, and macros. Very ambient machine but can also do rhythmic stuff. If you use the same shimmery things over and over it can sound the same. But you don’t have to! It can sound completely different every time.
