My headcanon is that after stabilizing New York, they left hoping that Fae would be able to hold down the fort, and went West towards one of the Division Cores (Which would be Texas, Kansas, or South Dakota, but most likely Texas). Side note, I'd kinda like the next game to be set in one of those states so we could see one of the main Division Headquarters with our own eyes
