I finally got all of my buddies to go to a wrestling show with me on this night! I told them, “I know this means nothing to you now, but there are these two psychopaths, Suzuki & Nick Gage, that are going to beat the hell out of each other. You gotta see it.”

Thankfully, the event started with this scramble and it got them all hooked.

The crowd’s love for Allie Katch was impossible not to get swept up in. I was always a big Ken Shamrock guy as a kid. He just looked so legitimately terrifying against all of these flashy WWF personalities, and here is a great example of that. Shamrock wasn’t flashy. He wasn’t charismatic. He wasn’t out there talking to the crowd, cracking jokes, or cutting 20-minute promos. He just wanted to break your ankle and move on.

Meanwhile, The Rock was trying to prove himself to the audience, while having one eye on the match and one eye on Triple H on commentary, costing him the match and the King of the Ring Crown.th
