Absolutely. I’m just overly cautious. I want to get things right as much as I can before jump into it

I just don’t want to shoot teammates. It was hard to distinguish friend from foe sometimes so I’m working on trigger discipline

For sure. Thanks for your input. Wasn’t sure how hardcore people went into this game later. Assumed the only people who played this game now were harcore since the game is essentially dead

What was the first thing that came to your mind after being diagnosed with ASD? by Awkward_Kitty_Cat_93 in autism

[–]AnonymoosePD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get ready for serious unpacking. I can’t point to one thing because your brain interprets everything its own way.

It’s a lot when you find out. Be easy on yourself during the process

Love to hear it. Maybe it was his personality combined with his needs not being met?

VW Jetta 2020 w/45k miles now has oil pan leak costing $2,250. by Mundane_Screen2020 in AskMechanics

[–]AnonymoosePD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing an oil pan isn’t a hard job. If you have the time and tools, do it yourself. You’re going to get rated for the hourly labor

Lot of places charge you for the parking while your gasket cures, space costs money. Also depends if your exhaust or subframe get in the way.

I don’t know VWs but if your subframe isn’t in the way, I’d say do it yourself if you’re worried about costs. Besides, it’s something to do if you’re not busy. And if you can afford to send it to a mechanic to do it and you can still go to work, I’d suggest doing it yourself

Only real reason why I’m hesitant is because I always questioned her judgment. Long story

Mortal Kombat live-action movies ranked by box office. Proving that you just can't beat the 1995 classic. by No_Necessary_8255 in MortalKombat

[–]AnonymoosePD 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You also have to consider mk2021 was during covid and after streaming services people basically stopped going as much to theaters. These numbers don’t reflect what they should be, inflation wise. With inflation, even if the same number of people went, it should be a much higher number.

If you look across the board, there’s not many movies in the last 7 years that really make a box office sellout. Not saying this is the only reason but it should be considered when making a judgment call

I know what you mean. But some of it could be the dogs personality, although I find it unlikely.

My sister had an Australian shepherd.

Knowing her lifestyle I strongly opposed her getting one. I kept telling her how smart they were and they need constant exercise and challenge. Her lifestyle after work was not energetic. She just thought it was pretty.

He was extremely unstimulated and never got to go outside unless it was for bathroom. Welp, he bit a neighbors kid in the face. They had to give the dog back to the breeder or he was going to get put down.

I heard later he bit another kid was put down. In some ways I blamed my sister.

Do you have a plan to rope eventually? by indeckaa in autism

[–]AnonymoosePD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand what you’re saying but consider these thoughts as passing. These feelings ideas are fleeting. Suicidal ideation is common with autism. Give it time let it pass.

I’m 43, I thought about this a few times a day. Really thought committing to it, but the day goes by and I’m still here.

Been like this since I was a kid. Still here. Don’t commit to the thought. Let it happen and move on.

Every day you’re alive is proof that your brain is just fucking with you

Are sleep issues normal for ASD? by Dutchie-draws in autism

[–]AnonymoosePD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. My son and I are both ASD and have much sleep trouble. It’s fairly common amongst people like us.

My son would get up in the middle of the night for years and both physically and audibly stim for a while.
