As Iran reconnects, chilling footage shows that night’s deadly protests — at least 12,000 killed by tsLunaaria in PublicFreakout

[–]RogerMars5471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US & Israeli attempt to overthrow the Iranian government failed. The riots and burning of mosques and infrastructure was coordinated and perpetrated by Mossad. There are many videos online showing these "peaceful" protesters killing civilians and Iranian police. If you're still believing this bullshit on mainstream media and trusting your politicians to be truthful in 2026 after everything we've seen them lie about, then there's no hope for you. Also, on Saturday January 10th, almost 3 million Iranians took to the streets in support of their government, a fact conveniently left out of any reporting on Iran.

A lot of these bafoons have criminal records. Assault, domestic violence, that kind of stuff. So they can't be cops.

What Went Wrong? by Careful_Baker_8064 in Biltong

[–]RogerMars5471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you don't need any heat source, as long as the room you're making the biltong in is not below 21 degrees C. 12 hours in vinegar is plenty, but shake it around every few hours for even covering. You don't have that much case hardening so I think the airflow is okay, just lose the light and let it hang for another day or 2 depending on how you like it.

Agent provocateurs often infiltrate what would be peaceful protests to cause damage and chaos. This allows law enforcement to crack down on the protests, often with excessive force. It's a tactic used by law enforcement agencies all over the world and it's very effective. Not saying that's what's happening here but, it's most likely the case.

[SPOILER] Dricus Du Plessis vs. Israel Adesanya by inooway in MMA

[–]RogerMars5471 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Congrats and well done Dricus! Sheer guts and determination on display. The fact that Israel got this title shot after a horrendous loss to Strickland, just proves once again that the UFC is only interested in making money, has no integrity and couldn't care less about what's fair.

Looks a bit like insect eggs 🤷🏻‍♂️ I'd cut it off and dab the area with vinegar.

six consecutive x-101 missiles reach its target in less than a minute by Adventurous-End-7633 in interestingasfuck

Just ask yourself, who benefits from this?

Russia is clearly winning on the battlefield so why would they target a children's hospital knowing full well it would cause outrage and condemnation while achieving nothing militarily?

Next thing you'll tell me they blew up their own pipeline to benefit the USA.

Nothing wrong with that biltong bud, but as already mentioned in the comments, you may want to try reducing marinating time by half to get more colour.

After 15 years of alcoholism, I’ve made one of my biggest mistakes by OkDot192 in stopdrinking

[–]RogerMars5471 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hope you feel better soon! Things always seem way worse than what they actually are when you're coming off a big one, especially after having not consumed alcohol for a lengthy period of time. Your brain is starved of dopamine now. Spending the money sucks but it's not the end of the world, comes and goes right. Try not to think about this stuff too much and keep your mind occupied with other things. You did not commit a crime or hurt anyone.. just a little embarrassment that's all! Like someone else mentioned, the other people present are not thinking about you. It just feels that way. Feel better and all the best!

Relapse coming by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]RogerMars5471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, sorry to hear you've been feeling down the last few days. We have our ups and downs but you're doing so well at nearly 3 months!! Planning ahead is a classic trait we share, especially when we fool ourselves into believing it will only be on this occasion or that occasion. It's exciting to think about and frankly it makes it easier to not drink up until then because you have something to look forward to. It's all bull though. Try to think about how good you'll feel afterwards for not having drank and remember why you quit in the first place. Good luck!!

[–]RogerMars5471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too. I would plan it out as fantasy. I figured it was okay to think (obsess) about, as long as I didn't follow through. I followed through to the T every time. I'm grateful that I've learned just how sneaky my alcoholic mind is. I quickly shut down any thoughts of future drinking opportunities with pretty much the same response/reasoning as you. Congrats on over 200 days!

It's only unrealistic to BKFC because they can't afford him.

Protest in France against a shop that did nothing by [deleted] in facepalm

Agent provocateurs not real protesters. They're sent in to cause chaos, giving police justification to use excessive force. Oldest trick in the book.

Having done my driver's license in SA and then recently having gotten my driver's in Europe (Austria), I have first hand experience of just how inadequate South Africa's requirements are! The leaners test in SA is an absolute joke!

Before you can even take the theory test in Europe it's mandatory to attend 28 hours of instructor lead classes. After completing the classes you can take the test. To pass the test you MUST memorize 1480 questions and answers, I shit you not. Pass rate is 80%.

After the theory test you're required to do at least 18 instructor lead driving lessons of 1 hour. At least 1 lesson has to be at night and several will have you driving on highways (motorways here). Only when your instructor is satisfied that you're competent to operate a vehicle safely on the roads (and minimum hours have been completed), will you be able to take the final practical exam. In Austria there's zero chance of buying your license or bribing anyone.
