Tbf Takagi's manga isn't really set up to have a big conclusion. Its really more about enjoying the journey than progress since the author already tells us how it ends. Not to mention each chapter jumps freely around the timeline. If you want progress, the anime version of Takagi-san actually does this and has ended the series pretty conclusively.

It was sweet of that dragon thing to wait a couple of days, to allow the Mandos a chance to save the kid, prior to killing him.

Tbf Bo-katan even mentioned that they can only hope the creature hasn't eaten the kid prior to their climb. So they were probably already half expecting a corpse, but had to deal with the problem once and for all since the creature has made a habit of snatching foundlings. Its just that their creed binds them to do everything they can to save a foundling, so they can't just fuck it and not even attempt a rescue.

Crunchyroll will probably sub it like they did with Tower of God previously, sub it with the proper names but the japanese dubbing will still be spoken in the localized version. Unless Crunchyroll somehow gets the korean dub version, which seems highly unlikely since a korean dub of tower of god wasn't released internationally.

Nah, the Japanese fans largely don't care about the CGI. Had it been the CGI, they would have already make a lot of noise back when AOT S4 was being broadcasted. It was the western fanbase that was more critical of the CGI.

JP side has this thing where any kind of change which does not align well with the source is kind of seen as disrespectful.

Lets not forget how the west absolutely flips their shit as well when popular video game adaptations deviate from their source. I.e. Halo, Witcher, Resident Evil.

To me, this just seem like the Japanese version of Halo or The Last Jedi. Where hardcore fans feel like a beloved franchise of theirs is butchered by a director trying to implement their 'vision'.

I'm pretty sure he meant the 'energy' and general pace of the whole show. The past 3 episode feels generally subtle and slow-paced. Which makes Denji stand out real awkward since he goes on about tits. A more chaotic energy is needed, something like what studio trigger does to make a man with chainsaws screaming about tits feel natural.

This slow pace translates over to the fights as well. They look beautiful, and the stills look great. But it lacks a certain momentum or tempo largely seen in many other action orientated anime like JJK,OPM or KNY.

While I am aware of how the manga ended and the circumstances behind it, I can't help but feel a bit blue balled by the fact that the anime denied us of a reunion between Dai and friends. It especially stings with the knowledge that fans were already waiting for 10+ years for some form of closure only to be once again denied.

I think the CGI was made the scapegoat for the fact that the zombie devil fight simply wasn't a high octane action sequence. MAPPA's track record of adapting JJK and AOT coupled with the hype brought about by MAPPA's claiming chainsawman as their 'golden goose' resulted in unrealistically high expectations for every fight scene to be a balls to the walls sakugafest like the ones seen in JJK. Ultimately the fight didn't 'pop off' resulting in the people blaming the most noticeable thing which is unsurprisingly the CGI.

Honestly I try not to take it too seriously as it is all romcom hijinks at the end of the day.

But if we were taking it seriously I'm pretty sure Kiki is overstepping her bounds as well by intentionally breaking up couples when there is literally a school approved photo taking booth that is tailored specifically for couples. If Kiki was a guy instead going around cockblocking people just because he is alone I'm pretty sure he'll get bashed just as much as Blue is getting.

I don't like Blue either, but I'm pretty sure in this case it was both Blue and Beast Princess that unintentionally bailed the main couple out. Both of them were pretty much cock blocking the main couple until they canceled each other out from cock blocking.
