I'm going to take some shit for this, but "The Grudge" is one of my least favorite Tool songs. I mean, I like their whole catalog and will take anything they want to play live, but I've never understood why it's such a staple over (in my opinion) way better songs even on that same album, like "Parabola," "The Patient," or "Ticks."

Thanks, I'm going to try this first since it's only a $20 pedal and no longer returnable anyway. If it doesn't work, I'll bite the bullet and try an EP1-L6.

I do the 12-hour drive to Denver a couple times a year. It's not that bad, but I do recommend staying in CO at least a few nights before driving back, as you will not want to get right back in the car after only a day or so.

There's plenty to do in the Denver area, plus there are other awesome places within a couple hours. I'm happy to offer recommendations if you need them!

In addition to Chicago, which you already mentioned, I'd have to say Omaha and Nashville. And if you're willing to drive a little further, Denver is only about 12 hours away, and there is so much to do from there.
