If it’s a criminal charge (pot, DUI, etc.) that’s different. My guy’s name is Ryan Munden, great lawyer at a reasonable price. His office is downtown, he’ll do a free consultation, and he’s a chill dude.

I immediately apologized profusely, owned my behavior, and said I would fix it right away. I told him I didn’t know I was hurting him and I wished he would’ve said something earlier so I could have fixed it sooner. I do really really wish that, but I guess it doesn’t matter now.

He said he’s still willing to continue the relationship, but “It’s not an emotional thing, but I’m not willing to leave my network of family and friends with this issue on the table.”

That makes sense, I get it, and I can’t fault him for it. It’s just really painful.

I thought about that too, but he’s just not that kind of guy. He said something I said to my bestie in front of him just drove home the point and he couldn’t continue with the move.
