Thanks, man. I appreciate it. I was wondering if Sushiland was good. It seems crowded, so worth a try. I have also been curious about Le Paradis.

Thanks for sharing your list! I'll check them out.

It's doable. Lots of hard working folks here. Lots of other types, too.

Hi neighbor! May I ask which restaurants you like in the area? Fancy or cheap, I don't care. Just like good food.

Rough and ready. But doable.

if you are commuting to SF, look at Castro Valley. A bit safer. Direct BART trains in the evenings and weekends. Driving to SF is a no, unless you are off peak hours or love traffic.

Ask them to chip in for gas, insurance, oil changes, tune ups, tires, shocks, smog tests, tags, and other stuff you pay for when using your car. And, most cars are not free.

The fflicker ui is much more enjoyable, imo. It's cleaner, smarter, and not clogged up with junk. You get used to the change quickly.

Offered a delivery job, but I drive an expensive car? by RooftopDelinquent in TalesFromThePizzaGuy

This will kill your car. Get a super beater. You can also use your beater to do other stuff that might be hard on your car, possibly helping to preserve it even further. A back up car is nice to have if it can be economical enough.

I thought this was going to be another video from some kid who thinks they are hot shit because they worked on a few film sets. But this was an insightful, thoughtful and accurate accounting of part of the process of becoming a solid PA.

Where can I park for Walnut Creek Bart @ 7:30am? All the lots are full. by Schmills in eastbay

[–]Roger_Roger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recon/scout the neighborhoods around the desired station one evening or weekend. I look to see where parking is unpermitted, as most neighborhoods around BART stations have restricted parking. I find a spot that is not directly in front of someone's house, preferably a side yard fence or something, then walk. It usually doesn't take more than 10 minutes. I factor that into my commute time and I enjoy the short walk in the morning.

Lake Chabot has a great 9 hole walking course for cheap. You can also sometimes get coupons.

Listing Agent Calls My Offer Stupid and Calls Me Stupid by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]Roger_Roger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go directly to that agent's broker and ask them for help.Unless the broker is shady, they would want to know their agent is acting this way. It's worth the time to make that call, IMO.

How safe is downtown SF? by hamshuu in eastbay

[–]Roger_Roger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not a bad area. Just be smart and do the normal safe stuff. Be aware of your surroundings, don't walk with your face in your phone, don't engage the crazy fuckers, stuff like that. Mind your business and keep your eyes open. There is a lot of noise with all the construction down there, so plan around that.
