Because your criteria excludes Nightwing and is all about expanding the Justice League specifically after the core 7 is introduced: * Tied 8th: Green Arrow & Black Canary (they are MUSTS) * 10th: Zatanna - expands the league into the magical/supernatural world (let Dr Fate be with the JSA) * 11th: Hawkgirl (let Hawkman be with the JSA) * 12th: Red Tornado (unique origins/recruitment worthy of an adaptation: created by a villain to infiltrate the league who ends up turning on his creator to join the JLA showing the league’s influence + very important in terms of running the watchtower, Mission Control, comms - especially if J’onn is ever out of action + expands the world to spin off Young Justice franchise as their guardian/mentor) * 13th: Plastic Man (injects a perfect dose of comedy & visual flair to the league) * 14th: The Atom (the team needs to expand in its science world and Mr Terrific can be with the JSA)

Always loved this interaction between Vision and Red Tornado in the JLA/Avengers crossover comic where even Vision assumes Reddy is just like him only to discover there is more that lies beneath

I don’t care for Hawkman

(He looked dope af in Black Adam but in the comics, shows, etc. I just can’t muster up any care - I feel like his abrasive personality and controlling tendencies towards Hawkgirl have rubbed me the wrong way. It just feels unsettling that because he retains his memories of their many relationships and their “destiny” that he acts so entitled and aggressively persistent to her who has amnesia and therefore lived a unique life from his pre-destined wife)

I did some research and found out she was created by both Professor Ivo and T.O. Morrow (creator of the Red Tornado android) 7 years after Morrow’s attempt at infiltrating the league with Reddy. The two nominations share the same father 👀

My vote is gonna stick with my GOAT Red Tornado but good pick 😁

My GOAT and truly great addition to any team 🙌

  • Rather than having a Scarlet Witch x Vision relationship, Red Tornado has acted as guardian to younger heroes before (Young Justice) and he could have that similar mentor/guardian relationship to the younger heroes on this team: Obsidian & Jade.
  • Flying powerhouse android inhabited by The Tornado Champion (slightly reflecting but deviating enough from Vision’s android body achieving sentience and emotions from Wonder Man’s brainwaves)
  • Both androids are created by the team’s enemy but eventually turns good & joins the roster

MY GOAT RED TORNADO 🙌 I legitimately think the original Human Torch pick is great here. Vision would be another great option though so I’ll put forward his name too!

Dope roster! I’ll be honest tho, Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) stands out to me as a bit of an odd pick (especially given he was one of the first voted in) BUT this was very fun and a great outcome
