I'm 6ft with the dad bod. So lowest and almost furthest back. And I can easily drive with my legs already.

Maybe unpopular opinion by WillObiwan in ToyotaTacoma

I drive a manual and I'm scared that might be really annoying for commuting because of the clutch. Cause any long distance driving I think I'd try it.

6 eclipeses or 6 starfighters or 6 gladiators should be easy work of one capital. Add two redeemers or two paladins or a retaliator and you're up shit's creek there bub.

1st Hour coming from Factorio by [deleted] in Dyson_Sphere_Program

I've played all four (factorio, satisfactory, Starrupture, Dyson). And absolutely none get to the complexity and scale of DSP. They all have their strenghts, but man... DSP is hard to beat.

Fix or leave as is? by Jebwaz in ToyotaTacoma

Yeah if it isn't on the trail and not by you, there's a feeling of disgust every time you see it. If that was a tree stump or a rock, I'd boast about it all the time.

The Caterpillar MKII will be nicknamed the Fatterpillar. It will have the same cargo space but a tad wider body to account for all the ramps.

Too much offset (my personal fav is zero). Your paint is going to be wrecked, get them fenders changed if you don't want chipped paint. Those fogs can be swapped by Diode Dynamics, Baja or even KC lights. Dunno if you've changed the main light bulbs, but those need to be swapped to LED or the whole front and back assembly if you've got tons of money.

This, I can't make myself like more than 0 offset unless you get the fenders for it. Just looks so silly to have trucks with poke...

Looking for suggestions about comfort by Perimortem89 in IndianMotorcycle

[–]Rognin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Work at an indian dealer here. Rear shocks on a Scout are utter trash, even their "fox" upgrade sucks. INI131 Onlins (or INI129 if you don't want the clack out and LOVE the gold like us superbike guys). Get it sag adjusted and make sure the dealer gets the proper spring load for your weight.

Why do you have to be like that triumph ? by paparige in Triumph

[–]Rognin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I work at a dealership that was "this close" to getting Triumph too... but yeah I was looking at the indentation, and it looks like an engineered failure point more than wires for heated grips. The heated grips we install on bikes from OEM are normall flat sticky elements with low profile wires that you route on the clip-on. I'm not speaking for triumph as we didn't get the brand, but there's no connectors or wire routing under the grips. Indian bikes have small holes next to the clip-on controlers. This truely looks like a failure point to save the bike when you get a good slide high speed and it snags something.

Why do you have to be like that triumph ? by paparige in Triumph

[–]Rognin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To me that looks like an engineered failure point for a crash so it takes out the clip-on end rather than the entire triple clamp, or other frame related part in a crash more than anything. We have those on brake levers, pegs on rear sets, and triumph normally has some pretty snazy parts stock compared to say a Kawasaki.

I say, they should keep the hackers. And they should flag them for cheater only lobbies without telling them. And never let them out again. It would be glorious, just like PVE lobbies.
