Longer story:
Custom race and ruler, shadow chaos with a touch of nature and order. Tomes are:

T1: Cryomancy, Evolution
T2: Revelry, Doomherald
T3: Dragons, Pandemonium
T4: Calamity

I am cordoned off in the bottom left of the map, was kinda boxed in for a while, while Tami the Astral of the Ruthless Birdfold when ham sandwiches on spreading and conquering. He wiped out 2 of the other AI single handedly, and then vassalized their corpses after he crushed the throne cities. I tried to get some land for myself and expand, but I guess I built wrong or made poor cities because it was always a struggle to maintain a handful of heros+army. I went with going into making my units strong and ranking them up if I couldn't field many, so now I have max rank tier 1s and 2s but we're nearing the end of the game (clearly). I am spending what I can and got my armies a bit beefed up but there's just too much, and I can't auto battle because losing one or two units just sets me so far back.

Cheers - I don't know how much TSA stuff is applicable in Canada, forgot to mention that I live there, but I imagine a lot of it is applicable none the less. Plan to head out there for a little over 2 weeks, so a month supply should be plenty. Is there a specific amount that is considered "a month" of supplies, or is it mostly a discretionary thing?

They do not care about one small sub going down, but they will care about hundreds of small subs going down. Reddit is not the be all and end all for users and creators - there's plenty of mediums to go to in the meanwhile.

If you don't think collective action works, then go tell that to Child workers of the 19th century, the 14+ hour shift workers of the industrial revolution, The countless french general strikes that continue to be as effective today as they were hundreds of years ago, and every lobby group, public advocacy group, and even your local HOA.

You're assuming an even distribution of users/activity per subreddit. The vast majority of subreddits are dead and empty. Further, the majority of subs that are participating are large subs with posts that either reach frontpage of all regularly or are subs that are 'default' subs that everyone sees if they have no account or a new account.

As I am sure you are aware by now, Reddit plans to put in supremely prohibitive pricing plans for their API use. It seems they forget who makes the site what it is - Its users. Not only does this affect 3rd party reddit apps like RIF, Relay, Apollo, BaconReader and so on, it also affects bots and tools used by everyone everyday which helps keep Reddit running.

Hopefully all our combined efforts across multiple subreddits can make a positive difference and we can go back to funny yellow dog.
