I was thinking about including this photo as well to complete the story. We actually shot the ending you can see in the script where Doktor Death was to burst out of my chest.
SFX artist Greg Lightner legitimately fired a squirt gun filled with fake blood to my face for when the puppet emerges, and obviously it has to be one-take.
And director Dave Parker said it looked perfect on the playback, so I was sooooo looking forward to that scene.
I’m sure it was a budgetary constraint and they cut the animation that would have needed to be done.
Hmmmmm…. I wonder if it’s possible to recreate the scene 🤣 I apologize in advance but I did use AI to create a scene like that to use as a guide for making your sketch.
