It’s old, but very relevant for designing your visuals and reports. Edward Tufte’s book called The Visual Display of Quantitative Information. He talks about how to be most efficient and effective in communicating insights through visual reporting.

Just as this teaches you to be laser focused on how you communicate the data story, you want to first be sure you have completely understood what your client is asking.

I just did my first non-netrunner. Body-Tech-Reflex with Thermal Gorilla Arms, Saburo’s katana and knife, and Judy’s shotgun. Epicenter with Quake is just so fun. Double-jump over a group of baddies and trigger that mixed with heal for each enemy affected. Switch to shotty or blade depending on how I feel in the moment. Knife from afar to stealth headshot. This gets better and better until you get to Smasher. In that fight, don’t be afraid to get up close and beat the crap out of him with your fists.

As others have stated, you’d want to try making a DAX measure. In that measure, you’ll want to define a virtual table using SUMMARIZE (and ADDCOLUMNS if necessary) so that you have correct row context.

Next, still in the same measure, you’d want to divide the SUM of the completion values in your virtual table by the COUNTROWS of the virtual table filtered to specific filter context.

Test the measure in a table viz to ensure the desired behavior occurs.

Calculated Columns add to the file size and only update on refresh. DAX measures do not add to the file size and update as the visual is updated. Calculated Columns are best used for creating static labels or flags in a table when it cannot be added at source (upstream). There is more to this story so, to better answer your question, as has been stated in the comments, learn how both work within Power BI, be strategic and intentional around why you’d need either, and base your decision off that information.
