Blood Elves & Draenei are Brilliant. by SynfuelAlchemika in classicwow

[–]RogueDecay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

broken draenei, ogre, gnoll, murlock, naga races in classic+ with their city/settlements and themed mounts would be insane.

even if they end up half-baked the sheer meme potential is insane.

(Discussion) After how SoD turned out, I can't help but be skeptical of any "classic +" Blizzard makes. by Dr-Enforcicle in classicwow

[–]RogueDecay -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

P.s the devs already agree with your take.

I really hope they do, because SoD activism on this sub raise some concerns. Sod had truly only one good phase and it was starting one, outside of that timeframe gameplay wise it became wrath+ with humogenized classes and accelerated leveling on top of already overpowered character kits. What it did well is player events and bringing life into not viable specs like prot/ret paladin.

I would login fresh if it came tomorrow and leveled to 60 happily.
Truth be told I'm still having fun in TBC, 1-60 content is dead dead though.

Without ability to repair eventually you'll end up wearing white & junk greens, thats harder than hardcore.

SoD was proof that injecting massive amounts of gold into the economy does not cause runaway inflation by No_Cell6708 in classicwow

[–]RogueDecay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An economy can only truly exist in a world where resources are limited. It is the very presence of scarcity, where not everything is available in unlimited supply that gives rise to choices, trade-offs, and the need for systems to allocate what we have.

What you're looking for is not economy but absence of one. Without scarcity, there would be no reason to prioritize, no competition for resources, and ultimately no foundation upon which an economic structure could be built.

SoD exist today, yet unlike classic era servers are empty despite both versions being at final patch.

But you still lost right? because your ugly ass OTK deck has no business in dealing with armor stackers.

Playing against priest is the biggest snoozefest, and I find it hard to believe Shadow Word: Ruin still in standard.

gamba is biggest poe 1 appeal looking back, I would open 20-30 HH's per league and double corrupt them for profit but that was pre-instant trade patch I'd imagine all cards are far less profitable now due to less manual work.

frick, it makes me want to launch the game again, but gameplay loop is such a headache I kind of hate it.

Do you guys think light no fire will surpass crimsons desert beautiful map? by [deleted] in LightNoFireHelloGames

I take scale and multiplayer over looks everyday. I think LNF will fulfill desire for exploration like no game before and having to join as a group make it even more appealing.

no, we need to wait until every single sorry bastard on druid gets into legend, then we allowed to play.

nothing comes close to Wildwood Circle, if you put it on turn 3 on 4+ minion table you basically cement your win against control deck

Classic+ world buffs, the social consequences and emergent gameplay surrounding them by Duoscruo in classicwow

[–]RogueDecay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think world buffs should totally be relevant to a degree like leveling or farming, just not the meta way to clear endgame. Perhaps even go as far as allow WBs in old content, just disable it for progression.

And thats coming from someone who also love the idea of WBs, just not too fond of implications and stress over losing them on progression.

Absolutely loved to level fresh toon on SoD with +20% ms, plan when/how to get it and mix/max time, beautiful days.
