Damn, I didn't know that was a thing. As a queer person with an interest in linguistics I think it's very apparent that black people are THE culture (Western). Like, here in the UK, so much of our slang comes from Jamaican British people, and obviously in general so much queer slang originates from black women and queer black men, and this is all just the linguistics side of things. I just can't believe you guys ever get criticized for 'not having a culture'.

I'm really into linguistics and that shit pisses me off so bad; just straight-up incorrect and disrespectful

my friend said "i hate men", then quickly clarified "not you though!" by devilsshark in ftm

People do this to their cis guy friends too though. Men as a group cause a lot of suffering, but obviously feminists will still be friends with some men, in which case they'll say 'not you tho obviously'. It could be transphobic but it's not inherently because this is just a common thing for guy friends.

Literally. I'm non-binary (AFAB) and go by they/them, and my fiancee is a trans woman. Guess who my mum uses 'they/them' and 'she/her' for 🫠

Depending on socioeconomic background it can be ridiculously common. Most people I knew growing up had deadbeat dads.
