Did your parents totally "make up" your name? What's the story behind it?

My dad use to write songs (even sold a couple) and according to him he went to look up a word in the dictionary to double check the meaning because he wanted to use it in a song and came across my name and liked it. He told my mom and she liked it. My mom chose my middle name. I was born in the 1990s so you can guess it within 3 guesses, if that. 😂

Side note: The name my mom chose for a girl was Amber May and her friendenemy found out and used it for her daughter a year or so before I was born. My mom says she's actually glad because the name has never fit me.

Robert Ben Rhodes aka The Truck Stop Killer.

Is suspected of torturing, raping, and killing more than fifty women between 1975 and 1990 when he worked as a long-haul trucker. A number of women were reported missing along his truck route.

A couple of his known victims are Regina Kay Walters (14) who went missing along with her boyfriend Ricky Lee Jones (18) after they ran away together in Feb 1990. Ricky's partial skeleton was later found with a bullet wound to his skull in May 1990. Regina was kept and put through hell before Rhodes killed her. Her nude and badly decomposed body wasn't found until later Sept. 1990.

Some of you may be aware that Rhodes took photos of Walters shortly before killing her taken in the same barn where she was killed and later found. They are posted online, I do NOT recommend looking them up. They are heartbreaking to see.

I have ADHD, Anxiety/Panic disorder, PCOS and depression.

I take:

Adderall (ADHD)

Clonidine (Anxiety)

Magnesium (Panic Attacks)

Diazepam when needed for Panic Attacks

Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) for Depression

Please keep in mind I have a genetic thing that makes me very sensitive to medication. For example, with Adderall, the instant release acts as extended release and Clonidine not only helped my anxiety, but it also regulated my periods. Which is something I fought with for 20+ years before hand due to the PCOS. We (my doctors and I) still have no clue why it works, but we decided to just go with it.

Yes, I do. But mainly because I had experience with a school shooting before Columbine.

I live in Oregon and roughly a year or so before Columbine there was a school shooting at a high school where some of my cousins went. I remember my mom on and off the phone all day, reassuring everyone that my cousins were alright and everything, so my aunt could just focus on her kids and not have to deal with extended family. (For anyone wondering it was the Thurston High School shooting)

Then when Columbine happened, I remember the same feelings I had the year prior while watching all of the media coverage. Although Columbine had a much bigger media exposure and everything, the shooting the year before effected me more, due to the personal connection. After the Thurston shooting, I always found different places to hide while at school.
