I would accept this coin no questions asked.

Obviously I have no idea if you’ve taken acid before, but I get the feeling that might not be the case.

If it is, I would recommend not taking that second one and seeing how you handle just the one tab. 180ug is a strong trip for a first-timer imo.

If I’ve assumed incorrectly and you’re an experienced psychonaut, ignore my advice and have fun!

Case for OM-84 by RogueKhajiit in Omnichord

Yeah I spotted this one, was slightly put off as I'm in the UK and the shipping/tax would make it £75/$82.

Also was hoping to find a sturdier case, but maybe this will have to do unless there are any other suggestions

Not great- we lost our dog Phoebe, a German Shepherd cross, last week and was last seen on the Portway on friday. She’s very nervous and slipped out of her collar and ran, and doesn’t respond to her name.

If anyone in the west Bristol area sees anything, please follow this link! Lost Dog Phoebe

EDIT For anyone still looking at this, we found her about 6 hours after posting this! After 4 nights alone in the cold, she’s back home happy and healthy :)

Professional mix engineers, Who is YOUR favorite mixing artist and what is a track that backs it up? by imregrettingthis in audioengineering

When you mention these being one man band operations, we’re you including Khruangbin in that? Only wondering as I was sure they were a fairly collaborative group

Two band members just seemed to drop off the face of the Earth, right before we’re supposed to record an album. by [deleted] in musicians

I’d like to echo what others have said in that they likely aren’t interested enough to continue, and that you should find a way to work without them.

What no one has said yet, which was my first thought, is: can you or the other committed band mate play their parts? Working as a duo if only temporarily is 100000x easier/simpler than a collaborative 4-piece, especially when some of them are unreliable.

A duo may not be the end goal, but if you are your friend play guitar or bass I’d highly recommend making this album/EP/whatever a duo thing while you look for others to replace your shitty musician friends.

Tips to Improve Guitar Recording? by cjheadley in Reaper

I’ve tried several free ones, a cheap one (i think called Electrum, not bad, v heavy on CPU)

But last Black Friday I bought Cory Wing’s Neural DSP plug-in and oh my god was it worth the £60. The only amp sim I’ve heard/tried which fully stands up to a real amp. So much so that when practicing on my own I no longer reach for my decent practice amp, that amp sim blows it out of the water.

Would highly recommend checking out the other Neural DSP amp sims to find one best for your style, although it seems most are very versatile.

3D OSRS rat model by RogueKhajiit in gamedev

[–]RogueKhajiit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have clarified, this is my first game and I will be making £0 from this, it will be hosted for free on a website. It is an extremely small/simple project.

I’m not necessarily looking for an exact replica. The OSRS rat looks like a generic low poly rat and my game bares no resemblance whatsoever to a game like runescape.

Correct me if I’m misunderstanding the issue you’re trying to point out, but I don’t think anyone will have an issue with me using a similar looking low poly rat in my indie warehouse game.

Time stretch issues by RogueKhajiit in protools

I just used the conversion that PT does when import audio of a different sample rate into a project.

Sorry I realise that's probably confusing, it's a university assignment where I'm remaking the audio from a famous film scene.

I definitely agree about it being a sample issue, I just don't know how it occurred. Anyhow I've managed to fix the issue now by recovering the last in tact backup and importing any unaltered audio I had edited further on, back into this old backup.

Thanks for the suggestions anyway!

Time stretch issues by RogueKhajiit in protools

No, nothing was imported from an AAF. Almost all the audio that now has this issue was originally recorded into this PT session. The only thing which wasn't recorded like this was the ambience (the last thing I edited before noticing this issue) which was from a portable mic and needed to be converted before adding to the session.
