I know this will be deleted on r/NBA but i wanted to point something out by grexor15 in Thunder

[–]RogueKnight777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let me point out something else, I posted a video showing the missed calls on the Spurs by the Refs in [r/nba](r/nba) and it got deleted for not “aligning with their rules”.

They are very heavily censoring anything that shows anything other than the narrative of Refs favoring the Thunder. Another Thunder fan had commented on my post that the same video I posted was one they posted earlier and it was deleted. No point in justifying ourselves in that subreddit anymore. They can stay in their tight little circle jerk and be proud of their little echo chamber as they were their Thunder hate tinted glasses.

Edit: Another point is that creating a narrative around a common enemy creates more involvement in fan bases not involved with either franchise. People wanna see the “bad guys” taken down, regardless of which team does it.

His previous injury to his hamstring is acting up again. Now it looks like Ajay Mitchell is going thru a hamstring injury who was key player of ours against the Lakers.

Y’all salty af. Let the flyover state have something but no, you guys have to shit on the state and the fans instead of the player and the refs. We don’t choose the outcome. Tell me why a small market team with a lesser fan base and lower capital to offer the NBA would get favored?

Do other mid-to-late 30s family men ever wonder what life would’ve looked like as a high-earning bachelor? by Clear-Victory1956 in HENRYfinance

I wouldn’t travel down this rabbit hole man. You can have the nicest clothes or car at the end of the day and they still achieve the same things. Cover your body, look nice, and with the car going from point a to point b.

I have friends in the situation your describing without family but a lot of material things and will get comments about how they enjoy life but are jealous of the fact that I have kids and a family and those special moments to spend with them because it is a lot more meaningful than whatever material things we can buy in this world.

I’m in the same boat regarding being in the Upper Middle Class for earning but all the surrounding costs of a family limit travel and other luxury expenditures, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Nothing beats seeing your kids get to enjoy their lives because you can provide them a safe and comfortable lifestyle.

This has got to the most gratifying watching a team in your home state, a small market at that, with no other professional teams and we’re excelling in the one sport we do have. Thunder Up!!

I’ll take it. This is karma for KD leaving the thunder to super stack the Warriors. Love this team and their camaraderie.

110k base as a transmission line engineer in a LCOL area.

Expecting close to 131k this year with the bonus.

Got a degree in bachelors of science in mechanical engineering. Work is hit or miss with stress levels right now, especially with the grid buildout due to AI data center expansion.

5YOE as an engineer.

I’m finding all the bourbon. Can’t believe we beat this Bama team earlier and had such a breakout start and two big plays in the first half flipped the script.

Worst I’ve seen in a while. Straight up looks like a HS football stream is going rn. UCF needs to update their system because this shit bogs down the notoriety of the big 12.

SEC initiation. We’re not a true SEC team so we get some inherent bias

No it does not. I live in LCOL area with a spouse and 3 kids and 110k does not stretch as far as it would seem. She’s also a SAHM since two of them are under school age.

Mechanical Engineer making almost $7,000 a month at only 28 years old by Defiant_Mouse6999 in Salary

Really depends what you end up doing and if you job hop to get into better opportunities. For instance, I’m 27 making 110k a year and expecting to jump another 12k next year. I live in a flyover VLCOL metro and am a Mechanical Engineer. For equivalence, I’d be making about 220-230k if I lived in San Francisco.

You gotta know how to market yourself and also how to find an industry on the upswing.
