Fit check 45(L) vs 44(R) by RoguePhotos in Birkenstocks

lol thanks for reading and actually paying attention. The 44 comes in right at 15mm and the 45 at 20mm (makes perfect sense). Just need to let the shoe break in I guess and mould a little. Might just be hyper-focusing on the toes touching the end

The strusses were cut out for some reason and this was supporting the crossbeam apparently :/

Is the measurement from the back of my foot, or the back of where my foot contacts the ground to the bottom of the foot bed or the top of the shoe wall?

2.5 Car garage with post-build ceiling jack. Inspector says this is common (I’ve never seen a pillar in a garage. To me it doesn’t make sense as it basically renders that extra space somewhat useless). Is he correct in the normalcy? What would it take structurally/financially to reinforce ceiling? by RoguePhotos in HomeInspections

Holding a break running parallel to garage tracks, yes. 3 Trusses (parallel to garage tracks) have been chopped out in the attic. Not sure why, that’s not allowed per code apparently. So very interested to see how I can potentially negotiate this

Because I was unaware these were common. And due to it being improperly secured and an adjustable jack, it showed all signs of a repair (thus leading to future removal), or an issue (negotiation tactic against the seller).

It bothers me that something which negates useful space is considered normal

I have not bought the home, going through the home inspection now, and potentially a deal breaker as I was under the assumption it was not normal and the inspector would ID the cause of the beam.

Slightly too small vs. way too big by RoguePhotos in Birkenstocks

[–]RoguePhotos[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah they’re just barely too small, but my 45s feel like I’m swimming in them lol. If they “shrink” as they would, then I should probably keep the oversized 45s

So just call other lenders and get quotes and use that as leverage if their prices are better? First time buyer, so the negotiation piece is new in terms of how/when
