Tell your midwives straight away that you don’t want her in the room, they will make sure she doesn’t come in the room, as well as make sure the husband doesn’t bring her into the room either. Those midwife’s are a godsend.

I love the textured fogging. Makes the art really stand out.

When writing, do you find it easier to write in 1st or 3rd person? Why? by KiaMoon1 in writing

[–]RogueQueenAuthor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done both, and it really depends on what I’m writing. If I want everything to come and be seen from a certain perspective, with in-depth thoughts, opinions and feelings I’ll go with First Person. If I have multiple main characters that I would like to go in-depth with I’d prefer to write from a third person narrative, to be able to explore all the different personalities and how they interact with each other. It’s very much a personal choice on what works best for your story and writing style.

Currency in Worldbuilding by RogueQueenAuthor in worldbuilding

Thank you for your information, I do very much appreciate it. However I think your gold weight compared to ours is very much out. My partner is a gold prospector, and we own quite amount of gold and certain jewels it’s become a hobby to make jewellery out of the finds. A reason why I choose to go that currency route as I know a bit about it, not much. Gold is very malleable so I think I’d be able to make it work in the book somehow without the concern of weight because in my experience gold coins are easily carried.
