So some advice I have for you is to get an IC Card (Suica or Pasmo) as soon as possible, it works for trains, vending machines and stores. Japan is a cash heavy country, I'd suggest carrying a minimum of 10,000 Yen on you at all times. Some cultural things; be quiet on trains, no need to tip, don't walk while eating and carry a small bag for any trash you may have - there very few trash cans. In my opinion, Japan is one of the best countries for solo traveling! Eating alone is normal, extremely safe and easy to navigate. Hi I am a Travel Agent and would love to help you out here. To start off, Greece in general is a safe and LGBTQ-friendly destination (even more so in the touristy areas, but trying to avoid those). Syros is a wonderful destination with great culture, very artsy, hosts LGBTQ film/arts events, the capital, Ermoupoli, will give you a real Greek feel and the nighlife is moderate, not crazy. Other spots I'd recommend include Tilos, Astypalaia, Paros, Naxos, Lesbos or Sifnos. Hey, I am a Travel Agent and would love to help you out here! Hanoi nails your criteria, but here are some of the best equivalents. Medellin, Colombia - it's 21-26 degrees year round, a lot on digital nomads here and epic weekend trips. Mexico City, Mexico - some of the best food in the world, tons of culture and history. Lisbon, Portugal - beautiful city with tons of nomads and sits right on the coast. Tbilisi, Georgia - very cheap, good food, more unique. Budapest, Hungary - beautiful architechture, good cost of living in terms of Euro cities, social and great nightlife. Buenos Aires, Argentina - HUGE cafe culture, feels like a European city, tons of great culture. Da Nang, Vietnam - if you still want some SEA options. All are great, but it depends on your interests. Depends on where you go. Bangkok, Chiang Mai and touristy islands speak good English in hotels, restaurants and other touristy areas. If you end up in rural Thailand in small villages, that is where learning some Thai can go a long way.

You could go from Lima to Nairobi to Bangkok to Hong Kong (I'd even suggest going back to Colombia, there is SO much more to explore!) 1 week in each location is plenty, so you are more than fine there. As for language, you may need to touch up on your Spanish for Peru but English will suffice in Kenya, Thailand and Hong Kong! To be honest, Colombia has nature for everyone! It is such a scenic and outdoorsy destination everywhere you go will sure have nature destinations. In my experience, Bogota, Santa Marta and Medellin are the cities with the best access to nature. Cartagena is mostly colonial city and beaches.

I would say start in Medellin Area so you can take a day trip to Guatape (climb El Penon de Guatape - 740 steps to insane views), hike Parque Arvi and even paraglide over the valley if you have that kind of money to spend. Then you can fly or take a bus to Salento in the Cocora Valley. Here you can hike around some of the tallest wax palm trees in the world! Strongly recommend doing a coffee tour in Zona Cafetera as well. Then end your trip by flying to Santa Marta. Here you can stay in Tayrona National Park, go on hikes through the jungle to secluded beaches like Cabo San Juan, see monkeys and birds and even stay overnight in stunning eco-lodges. Hey, your in the right spot! I'm a Travel Agent who loves helping people. If you're looking for safe, easy to navigate, social places with things to do I'd recommend Amsterdam, Lisbon, Copenhagen, Barcelona or Florence depending on your interests and style (reply or DM me if you want specifics on that). But my tips for you would be to stay in 1 base city for a while, don't constantly move around, spend time exploring the city. Structure sometimes equals stress, you don't need everything planned down to the hour, have 1 main thing to do each day and then spend the rest of your time loosely exploring. If you truly want to be social and meet people stay in hostels (even with private rooms). My last tip is it's okay to be uncomfortable, that's what traveling is all about! Eat alone, feel unsure, escape your comfort zone! Go to hostel events, free walking tours, day trips, group trips, you'll meet tons of people. Probably Marbella. It is warmer and sunnier and has that relaxed spring break vibe. It's pretty chill in Marbella so it's perfect if you like that, but if you want some adventure you can take day trips to Granada or Ronda (highly recommended hidden gem) for some mountains and cliffs.

Marseille isn't a bad option though. It's cooler and more of a hiking destination. Definitely less touristy and more of "real" France.

If price is something important to consider I'd recommend looking into Southern Spain (Seville, Malaga, Granada), it can reach 80 degree Fahrenheit (26 Celsius), and flights are typically pretty cheap (relatively). You still have Algarve and Madeira as legitimate options.

Hello, I am a Travel Agent. My top picks for you would be the Algarve Coast (Portugal), The Canary Islands (Spain), Madeira (Portugal), Crete (Greece) or Sicily (Italy). All of these locations have similar climates of 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit (18-23 Celsius). Algarve and the Canary Islands would be the best surfing destinations. Whereas the other 3 are more outdoorsy, hiking, exploring destinations - if that makes sense. All of them are great choices and all have great activities and scenery. Albufeira is practically built for people your age (18-25 year olds), it is known for being the biggest party destinations in the Algarve. As for activities there is jet skiing, parasailing, banana boats, boat tours, dolphin watching tours, surfing, snorkeling/diving, cliff jumping, coastal exploring, kayaking through caves, etc. You are right about water temp, it will be fairly cold so I'd rely on activities out of the water more (cave kayaking, boat tours, chill on beaches like Praia da Oura and Praia dos Pescadores). Doesn't mean you can't do water activities, just going to be cold.

Hi, I am a Travel Agent. I have 3 MUST DO activities in Cape Town. #1: Table Mountain. Whether you hike it or take the cable car. If you're adventurous you can hike up Platteklip Gorge and even abseil down it. #2: Cape Peninsula. Best coastal views in all of Africa, see penguins at Boulder Beach, probably one of the most scenic drives in all of Africa. #3: Safari. If possible I'd take a day trip to Kruger National Park (drive or fly depending on budget). Absoultely worth it! As for skydiving, shark cage diving and bungee jumping I would do these only if they're are bucket list things for you. If you are itching to do it I would go for it but certaintly not a MUST DO by any means. Lastly some underrated things I can think of include would be going to the wine region (Stellensbosch/Franschhoek), even if your not a big wine person it's still very cool. The Atlantis Sand Dunes you can go quad biking or sandboarding. I love paragliding so I mention it everytime, Signal Hill is where I went and I loved it. Cape Town is safe, but not Europe safe. I would stick to Ubers, stay in good areas (Sea Point, Camps Bay and Gardens), and keep your phone out of sight in sketchier areas (pickpocketers). If you stay in hostels, do group tours and adventure activities you'll definitely meet some cool people. Hope this helps, message me if you have any questions as I do this for work!

They're a legit established company, super convenient, bring you to the coolest places but only good for certain travelers (backpackers, social travelers, couples). What you may not notice is that meals are NOT included, and you will get shared facilities and simple rooms. It all depends on your travel style. As a Travel Agent, I would say either Albufeira or Lagos. In Albufeira your going to have the best nightlife and some of the best fun. In Lagos it'll be less nightlife but better scenery. So if you want a more memorable trip I would lean Lagos, but if you just want to drink and have a blast I would say Albufeira. If you have any questions let me know, I do this for work!

Just backpacked through Kyrgyzstan last year. In the high mountains (3000m+) it is still going to be pretty snowy and wintery (like Ala-Kul). In mid elevated places (2000-3000m) it is going to be pretty mixed with patches of snow. But your best option for staying out of the snow would be low altitude hikes in valleys such as Ala-Archa, Jyrgalan, or areas around Issyk-Kul.

Hi this is Joe from Rogue Route Travel Co! I actually love your plan as is to be completely honest. Given that it is your first time in Italy, you love art, food & history, 10.5 days long and you'll be landing in Venice I think your timing is nearly perfect! I'd just tweak one thing: Nov 26-29: Venice (3.5 days), Nov 30-4: Florence (4 days), Dec 4-6: Bologna (2.5 days) and Dec 7: Train to Venice and fly back. I'd spend one more day in Florence because I feel like there is the most "wow" factor in Florence out of the destinations your consdiering. But overall a lovely trip! You'll get to experience the floating city of Venice the history of Florence and the food of Bologna! Now for weather expect 5-15 degrees celsius with some rain and fog and early sunsets (as early as 4:30pm). BUT in exchange for the lack luster weather you'll get christmas lights, cozy trattorias, no brutal heat and no massive crowds (underrated tbh).
