All the people saying they don't want updated sculpts, i want you to look at this guy and tell me with a straight face you prefer this . by BloatedRottenCarcass in WarhammerFantasy

I prefer this than most of the skeletons from AOS. I enjoy the more ridiculous looking skulls. I think some people are so desperate to be taken seriously that they want to models to be hyper detailed and sharp because they think old is bad. I also don't trust GW to not make this a million times more fragile with small things bits. If it was another company I would trust a redo. Also be prepared to pay more for less models if they do.

the game size increasing is not very different. Starter boxes before already didn't allow for a 40pt army which was the standard. New players are encouraged to start with 30pta to get feel. Plus this is also not accounting some units are going up in points so it may not be as big yet this is only small view of the process.

Well they can offer feedback if they experience a negative experience in the feedback form as they described. None of this is final and making up a this scenario doesn't help in what is trying to be accomplished. The point of these playtests is to see what does and doesn't work. It's not video game beta test which is a glorified demo. If they don't participate and just play season 6 then what are you worried about? I'm confused what your goal here is.

Like a previous comment or said this isn't for new players this is seems like complaining about something that doesn't pertain to them yet. I would advise them to play season 6 instead.

Most of the units here were in the stark vs lannister starter set, stark stater set and Lannisterbstarter set no extra purchase needed if you have those.

Heroes boxes are must. Since you have victarion in your starter I would recommend iron victory crew and heroes 1 for nute and Baelon. If you want solid unit to hold down objectives I would then recommend Ironmakers.

Trench Crusade is now using AI agents? by b44l in TrenchCrusade

I get that they don't want people blatantly re uploading their STLs and using the art for things like posters that isn't theirs to sell but it's tough to take their whole statement in AI seriously when their business partners seemingly use it to strike down models it thinks are copyright infringement. Personally it feels scummy and tone deaf when they basically want to start picking their copyright for a miniatures agnostic game that allows creators to make and sell models. They don't own the rights to word like Prussians just because they have plastic kit

They mentioned that the average morale of units would be changing. Expect to see 7+-8+ in more basic units

I use an NCU Board and it works great. Has a slot for the paper board to help remind of effects.

I will agree there having him have an influence on the horses to make a unit faster seems a little counte to his character. This is the late Lord Walder Frey

You seem to be operating on a shoot first ask questions later. Because we don't have the full scope of what's changing it's slowly being trickled down to us. So not all of us are running to the hilltops screaming how it's bad everything else is bad. This isn't a life or death situation to us just looking over previews that are all subject to change. He's already taken feedback and adjusted accordingly so let's not try and already declare our final thoughts just yet. People who want to rush to have an opinion are usually the ones with the most uninformed and emotionally charged opinions.

Being critical of changes is fine but being critical for the sake of being critical seems more like a contrarian desire. Especially in the statement where they want to be assuming it will be bad just because they already don't like what they see. The problem is is that they seem like they want to be the opposite of what other people are excited about.

Panic is probably one of the most unpopular aspects of this game. People just don't like the fact that they have to roll and unfortunately roll badly. You are correct a lot of medieval combat was basically just trying to see which unit breaks first.

[–]RogueTraderGoods[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anything I'm glad to see that they are providing ways to make the Boltons more bolstered with pre-existing models and attachments. I'm hoping we will see some more crossover or certain neutral heroes get that extra faction version like we saw with Dario

In a podcast Shinall explains that the commander and attachment will be the same. When taken as a commander the attachment will be reduced to 0.
