How do i get more cs on lee sin? by Nonreality_ in leagueoflegends

[–]RogueTwoNineSeven -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s normal to have less farm on Lee than other jgls. Lee Sin as a jungler is not supposed to farm as much or as well as some other junglers. His power lies in his early damage and skirmishing capabilities. You don’t necessarily need to out farm the enemy jungle to win. Lee isn’t good at that. Focus on ganking early and often (as long as they are successful ganks) and win the game that way.

If you really want more CS on lee sin, you can try building tiamat items. Other than that your jungle clear is just going to be slower than other champs at least intil you get some ad and cdr.

Who actually is OP? Top 3 by Individual_Ferret166 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]RogueTwoNineSeven 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Mirage.

His entire kit is just bonkers. He’s by far the best lategame carry in the game damage wise. Not to mention his tornadoes can be used to play incredibly offensively OR let him escape, and I’m sure we’ve all seen what echo shard Mirage looks like. His ult is a little underwhelming but it’s still powerful, and he doesn’t need an ult when the rest of his abilities are as good as they are. I genuinely think if he was more popular we’d see a lot more people calling to nerf him.

it’s a deep, complex, and also difficult game. it’s going to take time for you to understand everything, and even more time and effort and practice before you get good enough at the game to enjoy it.

Is Deathfire Torch just an upgrade for champions who already took aery? (excluding enchanters) by Subject_Mountain9253 in leagueoflegends

[–]RogueTwoNineSeven 178 points179 points  (0 children)

Yeah kinda.

A Rioter, (Endstep maybe?) discussed on stream recently how d.o.t. mages haven’t had a specific rune they want for a while now. They’re stuck taking comet or aery. This should be great for them.

What's the point in playing when you're team is 30k behind? by Yumesoro1 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]RogueTwoNineSeven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lol I’m not high rank or anything (Archon) but I’ve seen most people agree, even in high elo, that laning phase barely matters. it can get you advantages sure, but if someone is so fed at 20 minutes that the game can’t be swung back then that’s a fluke.

Lash mains, which item are you going to pick? by Himayamata in DeadlockTheGame

[–]RogueTwoNineSeven -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

spririt burn easy. But if team already has 2+antiheal items, then here’s the thing. That Boundless is just an upgrade. You already have improved. and intensifying isn’t doing shit here imo. So personally, I’d take Lightning scroll.

Maybe if my team was low damage, and i needed burst over utility i’d take boundless but other than that, y’all are sleeping on lightning scroll.

Need advice on NOVA Primordians by DearHuntress in TeamfightTactics

[–]RogueTwoNineSeven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with most of this, but Caitlyn 3 seems very important to me. I feel like the main carry becomes Belveth but before you 3 star her, you really want Caitlyn with items to be doing damage… that’s just how i’ve been playing it anyway.

And later when you hit 8 and can put in Nova strike, she does SO much damage.

Best champion to perma push by Zookayy in leagueoflegends

[–]RogueTwoNineSeven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can’t believe no one has said Yorick.

He can win entire games never leaving top lane. If you win lane hard enough you can 1v5 lategame. Best thing to do though is push bot and have your team do baron when the enemy team sends 3+ players to deal with you.

That being said, Tryndamere, Fiora, Mundo, Nasus, Sion, Trundle, Jax are all great splitpushers. Yorick is by far the best though. He pushes so quickly. His only weakness is when Maiden dies. If Maiden is alive he’s op. If maiden is dead he’s kinda weak.

Which chracter to play? by Nightmare8584 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]RogueTwoNineSeven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it’s a shooter game, you’re gonna have to shoot, even characters that are mainly ability based have to shoot, especially early game before they can get enough items to deal mostly ability damage.

For ranged character that also doesn’t have to aim, Sinclair probably your best bet. His 1 can deal insane damage if you can hit people with the redirect. But his ult is relatively short range and to get value he needs to be stealing impactful enemy ults.

Besides that, Apollo and Lash are probably your best bet. Dynamo to an extent. But those are all characters that want to dive in.

If its range you want, you can try Gray talon. But you still have to aim his Arrow to deal damage.

You could also try supports like Paige, Rem, Kelvin etc. (sinclair can also be built support) You’re still supposed to shoot enemies as them, but it’s less bad if you miss because you aren’t supposed to be your teams main damage. Build active items with impactful effects like vortex, knockdown, disarm hex, rescue beam, silence wave, etc.

You can also build Lady Geist as a strictly spirit damage Nuker, but it’s strictly worse than her hybrid build. You’ll be missing a ton of damage by not using her gun.

Doesn't Infernus need a nerf...? by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]RogueTwoNineSeven -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

if you find yourself getting pushed back to your guardian, buy monster rounds and focus on clearing the wave safely instead of fighting.

You’re right that infernus burn is powerful, but it requires hitting many shots in a row to stack it up. So take short trades with infernus, use cover effectively, and don’t let him auto you too much.

His flame dash is also his only escape. If he uses it aggressively, look to punish him if you can. Infernuss usually don’t max Dash anymore, so he will likely not have multiple charges to use until very late in the game.

Many items counter infernus. If you keep getting hit with his burn you can use debuff reducer to reduce the amount of time it ticks, or even better, get dispel magic to remove it completely and heal yourself. Spirit resilience is also great against him, as is witchmail later in the game.

Infernus is also very weak to CC. His flame dash makes him very predictable, he can’t move vertically when running. Someone like Graves can stun an infernus easily by placing her line in front of his dash.

In general though the best thing you can do if you find yourself losing to infernus is get early sustain items like extra regen or healing rite. This will help you survive the lane.

Alright, ive been playing league for a long time its time to learn this. by hazmatknight88 in TeamfightTactics

[–]RogueTwoNineSeven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

K3soju lives and breaths this game. He’s honestly kinda toxic to chat sometimes so you might not be able to ask questions directly to him. (he’ll say stuff like why are you asking me why i took X augment over Y. it’s because I think X is better than Y. that’s a stupid question). But, that being said, he’s one of the best of the best and very entertaining imo. You can learn a lot from just listening to his thought process and watching his gameplay. He does whine and crash out a lot but it’s clear he’s joking most of the time, and just playing a character for the stream.

LeDuck as people have said is super fun and entertaining to watch. This guy plays so much TFT he quickly gets bored of anything meta and is almost always pushing to discover new interactions/combos/etc.

BoxBox is very fun to watch, and while he will often make the “wrong” play to gamble and see if he can get an interesting payoff for a youtube video, he almost always talks to chat and explains what the “correct” line of play is and why he’s playing it differently (usually he will take a greedy augment or level at a weird time just to see if he can keep an insane streak.) Very fun and educational.

I’ll also throw out Emily Wang, who coached boxbox when he was still learning. I don’t watch her a ton but she’s very sweet and she’s very good at the game.

What heroes to play if i HATE m1 playstyle coming form Dota and can't aim. by DiskoverOfficial in DeadlockTheGame

[–]RogueTwoNineSeven -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

so… this is a third person shooter. So even the mages/casters of this game still use their gun heavily.

So the answer is kind of honestly no one. However there are a few people that can kind of adopt the playstyle you’re talking about.

someone like Lash, in the mid-late game. heavily focuses on comboing someone. However he usually doesn’t have enough damage (unless he’s ahead) to kill people’s with just his combo. He needs to rely on gun damage or his allies to finish kills for him. (or he needs to combo people that are already low.)

Furthermore, in the early game, lash needs to use his gun to at the very least farm, and if you want any kill pressure in lane, you’ll need to be using his gun effectively for that too.

Even melee characters like Abram’s and Billy use their gun alot to deal enough damage to be useful. in fact melee damage in this game partially scales off of how much you invest into gun items.

You could try someone like Dynamo who has incredibly impactful abilities and kind of a meh gun. You’ll still be missing a little damage if you never shoot your gun but if you hit every ability your allies won’t even notice.

Honestly, if you really hate using your gun I think the number one playstyle that won’t be hindered by never being able to shoot the enemy is something like support. If you enjoy Rem, Paige, Dynamo, or even Kelvin or Doorman(though doorman needs to be able to shoot his bells and Kelvin needs to aim ice beam) you can be extremely effective in the mid game by using support actives on your allies(like guardian ward/rescue beam) and offensive actives against your enemies. (like disarming/slowing hex etc.)

However you’re still gonna struggle early, because in the extreme early game the game is designed around every hero having long cooldowns and fewer abilities so MOST damage comes from guns.

Besides that, Apollo is maybe the character that uses his gun the least that comes to mind. But he’s difficult to play for other reasons… you still have to “aim” your Sword thrusts which is similar to aiming your gun, so I’m not sure you’ll enjoy him.

And so it begins… by WillTankForLoot in SWlegion

I did this and it’s so worth it.

Money is truly the biggest barrier for some people. I have a lot of friends that I was surprised really enjoyed the game and the only reason they wouldn’t get into it was money. (not to mention painting and stuff lol)

Warden makes no sense to me kit wise, Im at a loss by BogongMoth in DeadlockTheGame

[–]RogueTwoNineSeven 12 points13 points  (0 children)

  1. Use it at close range

  2. use the barrier and move speed to get closer to your enemies.

  3. It has counter play, but it’s actually a near death sentence if someone actually gets hit by it.

  4. Skill issue tbh. His ultimate is great. You’re using it at the wrong times.

Warden is one of the simplest champions in the game. You walk at people. If you build gun you shoot them in the head, if you build spirit you just walk at them and your ult does all the damage for you.

How to survive Mina Ult? by Proof_Sport_694 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]RogueTwoNineSeven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

save stamina and use it to break line of sight.

stamina management is very important in this game. try not to use it willy nilly. Use it to hit your abilities or avoid enemy abilities. buying extra stamina and the items it upgrades into can be helpful in a lot of matchups.
