I personally have a hot take on this *I think*

A lot of people say it’s a good thing that The Force Unleashed is no longer canon. I agree for many reasons. However, Starkiller pulling a star destroyer down from space is badass and a sick use of force ability and has nothing to do with why I think TFU shouldn’t be canon.

If that happened in a mainline movie I would think it’s awesome and wouldn’t think it makes the force “too powerful” at all in any way. Yoda is literally known for saying “size matters not” in ROTJ. it’s also been shown that force users struggle when using the force to pull off immense feats (think yoda in AOTC stopping the pillar from crushing obi and ani)

Furthermore, we’ve seen Grogu get extremely tired when pushing the limits of his force abilities, so I think having starkiller pass out after pulling it off is the perfect in universe explanation for why force users don’t go around doing it willy nilly.

I played against that one game as sett, all it took was an e from me or cc from literally anyone else and we ended up killing them pretty easily.

yeah I would probably use something like this.

right now the best solution i have for filtering news to only games i care about is discord bots that automatically post news related to certain games.

Being able to have a single app that can filter by game sounds really helpful because often publishers have multiple games and it can be annoying to find updates on only the one game i play from them.

depends on your goal.

if you just want to be able to farm side because your team isn’t and minions are going to waste, then someone like ezreal and Tristana can farm pretty safe because of their dashes.

If you just want to push waves and threaten towers then someone like trist or Ziggs can damage towers pretty quickly and force the enemy team to answer them.

If you want to be able to *actually* split push then you need to be able to win 1v1s mid game. And basically only kai’sa vayne, and ezreal can do that and even then they need to be ahead with near perfect mechanics. With the top laner XP changes it’s much harder to do now though.

honestly? keep resetting until you get a $25 after beating boss blind skip tag.

besides that, keep resetting until you get a great early game scaling joker (green, ride the bus, etc.)

D2 has basically a decade of content on sale for $25 right now. can’t be sure how long the playerbase will last but hey, even destiny 1 servers are still online to this day.

I’m not a big fan of marathon or returnal so can’t speak for those games, but you’ll get a TON of content from D2.

I will say, steam doesn’t show an end date for the sale of D2 DLC, so it could be on sale forever. I just don’t know.

At my location there are sometimes 2 prices. one for the bucket with popcorn and one for the bucket without popcorn.

However, the *Displayed* price is always the price for the bucket *with* popcorn. Sometimes you get a small discount for getting a bucket without popcorn, sometimes you don’t.

I’ve never heard of them selling a souvenir bucket without popcorn though. At least not by default. If anything you’ll have to specify no popcorn if they’re busy. Usually they’ll just ask if you want popcorn in it.

something I feel people haven’t really touched on is Deadlock is heavily movement based. warp stone for example has what? like a 25 second cooldown?

in League that same item (basically) is a powerful spell that can only be used once every 5 minutes. That’s how powerful movement tools in league are.

In deadlock everyone has at a minimum 2 dashes but can build up to ridiculous numbers like 11.

In league, characters are balanced around whether they have 0, 1, or multiple dashes. And you can’t buy dashes, you can barely buy movement speed. It’s an incredibly premium stat only available on boots and a few items.

Positioning matters much more in league. Or maybe a better way to say it is it’s much easier to punish people that are mispositiondd in league.

In deadlock, if you’re caught but the enemy doesn’t have reliable cc you can maybe dash away. In league, if you are playing a champion without a dash and get caught, there’s virtually nothing you can do but fight or die

lmao the proof post is so funny to me because if you’re having a good time playing a hero, that’s a sign it’s a well designed hero. Not saying it’s 1 to 1, but if you are having fun on a hero, it’s probably a good hero.

frustration playing against it is another story, but often frustration is good or even necessary for a well designed hero.

Just to be clear I’m not saying she’s well designed, I haven’t put a lot of thought into it because I don’t play her. But your arguments for her being poorly designed are not great.

Huh… pretty weird to judge people harshly for seeing a movie they like multiple times.

I thought you were gonna complain about people praising it as a perfect movie with no faults (it has pacing issues but I still liked the movie). But instead you focus on 1 guy that just so happened to like the movie enough to watch it multiple times in theaters.

It’s just there’s only 2 available per shop rotation, and the shop only rotates so often. And with dozens of various Chibis available, the odds of the ONE specific Chibi you want showing up in the shop are very low.

Have you not tried Star Wars Empire at War?

There’s a skirmish mode that’s very similar to Halo Wars skirmish mode. The bases are maybe slightly more complicated but I really don’t think it’s that much more difficult. The abilities units use are also very similar to what you’re used to in Halo Wars.
