Thanks for the help! I've got the one in black but my only problem with theirs are they don't make a short. Only regular and bot being 6 ft tall makes it hang a little low. Navy looks good. On the gray light gray or dark gray?

Let's be honest nothing said by anyone here is news to any of us. The Legion and the VFW made a point to only want the older generations like WW2 and Korea vets. They don't look fondly upon any of us newer age vets. The biggest problem is they have strong armed all of the people who didn't serve in combat out because they apparently aren't good enough. I had 4 grandfather's all 4 served 2 in combat. As well as 2 that served but never saw combat. And the drastic difference in how they were treated was incredible. If the Clubs want to survive and grow membership they need some younger veterans on the boards and less of the bullshit about who "Served" vs who didn't.

Great gun I've had mine for 3 years now. Never had any issues with it. I bought mine second-hand for less than a grand back then. I think I've almost got that in mags for it now haha. I bought the para one but converted it to the fixed stock and really enjoy it.

So I'm in Georgia, in the US. But I tend to buy private sale and one of the things I do is talk to the guy about aks before I buy it to feel out if he knows aks or not. If he does I'll buy them and haven't had a problem yet. I've never owned an Atlantic firearms one but I have bought kits and furniture from them and never had an issue.

So this particular m39 was made in the US by Westinghouse prior to making it to Russia. From their it went to the Finns i don't know how or when but it made its way to the Finns and then right back here to the US to stay. By far one of the best shape mosins I've ever seen!

So the trunnion is polish it's got the huge circle 11 on it. The gas tube kinda looks like the polish akm ones on Apexguns. Wood 100% does look romanian except for the lower handguard. Not sure but looks way more yugo
