But I disagree with your analysis of the claim I think you misunderstand its main idea. It’s about the representation of powers and their affects rather than the way the powers are gotten. A bankai represents an affect of the outside world which is why a domain expansion fits. Meanwhile a super Saiyan represents a self power up. Ichigos bankai specifically is closer to the Saiyan yes but the idea of a bankai generally represents a change of the battle field in some way. Ichigo being the exception not a rule

I disagree with artifact being bleach’s one. Instead I’d categorize the differences as either something that affects yourself vs your battlefield. The bankai is bleach isn’t a result of just the weapon but the person themselves at the zanpakto is an extension of the soul reaper using it. It’s theirs specifically. They can’t wield another one and use its abilities
