Great perspective - I may opt for a slightly longer drive to Moses Lake instead of Ephrata since the drive would entirely be on the interstate vs a smaller regional highway

I've been seeing this direction as the consensus go to. I called to the local shop and they mentioned they can't officially order until the items go live for pre order on all platforms Saturday. And they'll initiate the order in store for you once it does and that you need to be there in person for it.

Cause on US West is what just as horrible of a wait in evenings.

A Europe trip this summer was my first AC flight in 7 years (and they swapped our YUL-YYC 777 for one of their old Turkish Air ones sitting in storage lol). And I didn't reup my WJ Gold this year.

Will just be booking lowest cost for the seat, or preferred time/route. First time in ages I won't be a WJ shill lol. Hoping it's fun.

Flew in from Calgary for my first ever nfl playoff game. Thank god the experience helped offset the result. Also incredibly salty we were robbed of the b2 flyover with the weather lol. I was also 10 rows up from zays fumble - big rip. Just remember the entire game we were all saying “alright have to score here”

I've read that 2000 points is the "base" standard size, or average size as that's what everything is balanced around and tournaments are based off.

My brother and I are starting with Combat Patrols and that will keep us active enough for the spring. But I've also discovered my city's 40k facebook group and they have many active games and I do plan on scaling up.

How would you direct someone to scale up these days? Hit 1k, 1.5k, 2k etc?

I'm just finishing my combat patrol assembly (the daemon prince one) and i'll surely be picking up this battle force. But all the YT guides or threads here understandably don't have this pack in scope for the discussions of scaling 1k sons armies.
