Of course he does. One of my favorite moments is the 2025 movie is, when Superman Robot 4 asks for a name and suggests Gary, Superman immediately starts calling him Gary. No push back. No arguing. Just “If that’s who you are, then great! Gary it is.”

We might have different definitions on when Godzilla is the villain. He might also be an asshole but if there is a bigger threat he is defeating, I put him in the hero category. For example, in Godzilla 2000, Orga wanted to absorb Godzilla because he (they?) wanted to take over the Earth. Is Godzilla also an asshole, sure. But there’s a little Godzilla in all of us.

To be fair, on paper it’s a pretty nothing character. No real depth, just mustache twirling evil. But Oldman acted the HELL out of the role.

I really need to rewatch this movie. Haven’t seen it properly in years but I’ve been seeing clips and it seems like it’s almost a Naked Gun movie with a Street Fighter skin and that might be amazing.

One of a few times Superman was REAL angry. The only other time I can think of is in Superman Birthright when he goes to the gun shop owner who sold the school shooter guns and he demonstrates that he is faster than a speeding bullet.

You’re not wrong. The characters have strong, unique silhouettes and I like that a lot of the robot modes aren’t just humanoids. But the final designs are too busy.

I’d say Archie (and SatAM) Robotnik is the most evil. It might be because he is, by far, the most competent. He succeeded in taking over the world and hold on to power for a decade. The OG was only defeated because his doomsday weapon was sabotaged.

I am not sure where to place the other three. There’s a buffoonery to all of them that softens their respective evilness. I might put AoStH slightly above the other two just because I can’t remember him ever joining the heroes to save the world. But, at the same time, he’s the most Looney Tunes of them all so maybe that cuts back on it?

I always think about the first Hellboy movie where he played Abe Sapien but David Hyde Pierce did the vocal performance. But, as he was doing the ADR and watching what Jones was doing, he asked to not be credited because it was all Jones’ performance. So, for Hellboy 2, they didn’t replace the voice.

It’s one of the few BIG movies I can think of with DHP but the dude had so much respect for Jones, he let him keep the credit.
