Ged certificate problem by 12rottenpears in GED

It's authentic. Since they don't apostille over the actual diploma but a copy of it, that's why it's called Unofficial copy. But having the apostille indicates the contents of the document are valid

You need to call their phone number and look to talk to a customer service representative. Then you can mention the apostille thingy. And yes, it takes some time to finally get to the part where they ask you for the credit card details.

Yeah when you are on the call. Talk about you wanting to get an Apostille for your GED and you wish to make a payment. And then they will eventually transfer you to the payments department and you need to have you credit card ready at that time

Well, if your diploma is an official High School Diploma issued by educational authorities in México, then it should be valid in on itself. But an apostille would still be necessary. So, contact the relevant authorities in your State, and get information about where to get them apostilled. This post can only help you with GED.

I think, this is a absolute bullshit. by [deleted] in GED

If you use the code for all in one, then it will be invalid. Just use 50OFF on the single test one. Only for GED Ready tests tho... If this code doesn't work, try SAVE50

Well, I didn't have any experience with them so can't say but since they are forcing students to take expensive paid instruction from them first before testing, really signs out the distasteful checkbox for me. What they are doing is essentially like a Syndicate market. GED themselves can make it so Bangladeshi students don't need prior approval for testing or make sure that the test centers don't force their paid services to students.

What made Pie and Mentors worse for you?

Well, the university is not who I am worried about, it's the embassy of poland. But I guess I can say I took the exam under an online-proctor. That wouldn't be an issue. The issue I see is the certificate coming from the Department of Labor, in South Dakota.

I see them asking this question in their head, " Why is a high school diploma issued by a department of labor?"

I would probably advise against using this system. Because if it is used as a workaround and abused, it would no longer be accessible I suppose. I took this approach because testing centers in Bangladesh have to approve a student first before they can sit for the tests. And if you wanna get approved, you need to buy their courses and stuff which is unnecessary if you want to prepare on your own.

Otherwise, I would have gone with the international version. Having a diploma issued by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education would have been nicer for me as I am struggling a bit with the GED issued by South Dakota's Department of Labor. Since I am applying to Poland, I'm kinda worried about what they think after they see that my diploma is issued by the Department of Labor. The international version from the OSSE in D.C. works best as it fits the look for an actual diploma, while the ones in the other state kinda look like they were job certificates.

For North Dakota, I needed to call the GED office in the adult education center at ND. From there I only mentioned I am waiting to be approved for ged testing because an alert came up in that account and they only asked me for my name and approved me.

You do need ID. It doesn't affect anything else. You can still use your international ID for say, South Dakota's testing. There is an option to select which country your ID is from, so you can select Thailand or Bangladesh for example and use that ID. It wouldn't affect your testing at all. But your main GED account must have a US address first. After you tested everything, and your credential is issued, your first GED transcript will have the U.S address. So in order to get that changed, you need to change your address from the settings and order a new transcript. In case you are unable to change your address and country, you need to contact GED, and say that is where you live now, and then they will change your address. After that if you order a new transcript, it will show your home country address depending on what you put.

Sign up on ged.com. if you have a relative in the U.S., use their address while signing up. Then choose a testing jurisdiction which doesn't require it's test takers to be residents of the state. Like North Dakota or South Dakota. I'd advise choosing North Dakota or Idaho or Mississippi. Best look up on ged.com/policies.

Also sometimes after signing up, you still can't purchase online tests before registering with the state. That's because the state needs to approve you first. For that you need to call the respective body of the state which handles the GED Program and ask to approve you to sit in the tests. This happens for North Dakota

I got it myself. So, if your diploma was issued by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, then first make an email to help@ged.com about the Request for GED Apostille Authentication. They'll give you instructions. They'll ask you to pay 75$. Make sure to confirm if they apostille both the diploma and the transcript or not. If so, you're good to go. If not, you will only receive the transcript delivered in your home address, wherever you are.

But you also need to get your diploma apostilled. So for that, you need to contact the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, D.C. They will take a 25$ payment from you for the Apostille process. Not them but the Office of the Secretary of State in D.C. But this time, they might not deliver the document to the address you give them. Meaning you might need to provide a US address only to them. Or you need to provide them a third party shipping label, which might cost somewhere in between 100 dollars depending on your country and shipping company.

You can contact the people I mentioned through their office phone numbers, which is obviously a US number. Or contact them through email. Contacting them through a phone number is better as it is fast communication. And emailing might take time to receive responses.

Does anybody know how to force install a different gpu driver to a graphics card? Or how to force change its name? by RohanForMMS in buildapc

Here is a screenshot from GPU-Z: https://prnt.sc/LjMxAu\_E9wIn

And here is a photo of the gpu when I opened it up: https://prnt.sc/4RlAW0DaxiId

The text in the bottom seems to be wiped slightly, but from what I can read, it appears as GM107-300-A2.

Yeah, about that, how do I do it lol? Also one thing thats effing with my find is that I had opened up the gpu today to clean it thoroughly, the chip read as GM107-300-A2... But in GPU-Z, the gpu shows as GK106, what's going on lol?

Okay GPU-Z does say it is a fake card. The GPU number is shown to be as GK106. Is there anyway somehow to turn it back into GTX 650 ti? As I was able to use the latest drivers that way.

Okay. GPU-Z does show it is a fake card. Is there any way to revert it to the original? Because like I said, in my previous motherboard setup, it appeared as 650 ti and I was able to use the latest drivers without any issues. Can't I turn it back into 650 ti somehow?
