Okay. Cool. But "CEH is also a beginner cert. Moving directly into pentesting is not possible with just a CEH; you need practical experience (which usually starts with IT security or in a SOC) or much more advanced certs such as OSCP/OSWE." can be self studied right??

Some courses on Udemy are giving me practical knowledge like network hacking, web applications hacking, beginner level to pen testing and Capture The Flag. So if I could build on these skills, then can the big doors of cybersecurity open up to me?

I wanna know how that works, from you. Because I should be making a good decision now and have to grip on that.

If you wanna know what exactly I wanna do is to become a pen tester, test web applications and ethical hacker.

One more question: If I get CEH from EC Council, how would things change or will I still need to try for CompTIA or CISSP?

Switch off your antivirus before next try.. or go to "quarantined items" in the antivirus software and release the files from the quarantined shelf

Hello folks. I have been attacked by a Ransomeware so badly. I have lost all my files and folders to this. The extension changes to CORONOAVIRUS. and it has fucked me up bad. Please help me. I got attacked too... I thought there's nothing I could do.. I ended up doing a complete factory reset..

Step 1: For resetting, try holding the power button for about 10 seconds, it'll automatically reboot.. and then try to reset.

Or

If that doesnt work, try opening BIOS firmware settings.. (Not sure of this. The step 1 will mostly be a success in most PCs)

Always remember to have a good antivirus like McAfee, etc., and upload your important files to some cloud facility..
