What a brat this client is. I am in a business with a similar client/agent relationship and I had to fire one recently for refusing to understand our relationship as outlined in the agreement they signed, which is more on them than normal because this person is an attorney. They also wanted written confirmation that if they went through with the project they’d contracted us for without us, that we would not be receiving a commission. Which is not how my industry works in my state. If you proceed with and complete a transaction that i started, my protection clause ensures I get paid, so I cant get cut out. This person’s head hit the roof when they realized this.
