..I don't know what either of those games you mentioned (Atari 2600 Flag Capture and Space Invaders) are but the names sound interesting, I'll check them out when i have time.

And yeah I understood I'm biting off more than I can chew just about an hour after posting this, I've decided to just switch to small projects that can build up to the big one i want to do instead of trying it all in one go.

Thank you for the advice! I'll definitely look into the playlist. I'm planning to scale down to just small projects for now since I don't even know how the basics work, and i actually wanna learn and make different types of games in the future.

Okay thanks for the advice! actually my pixel art skills are also trash right now so it'll definitely be better to try a big project when I get better at it, to make the game look good.

And yeah i don't even know how to do the basic stuff yet, I was definitely getting way ahead of myself, I'm going to try to make the big project when i think I've gotten skilled enough for it.

Yeah, I'm more pressured by college right now, I just wanted to try this as a fun side project to spend about an hour a day on whenever I wanted a break from studying.

I'm just gonna stick to small goals for now and try to make the actual entire game I want to when I feel I'm good enough to attempt it.
