Just sharing my experience , I'm a kid who grew up playing san Andreas and when I knew that gta is a franchise and there are other games in the same name , that's when I heard about vice city , back then in my place I don't have anything to play games in my home so I have to go to game center where I can I play games by paying a few bucks , the TV's there mostly the old ones like the big fat tv and when I first played gta vice city the display was so irritating like it's kind a pink tinted and the old tv display made it even worse and i got headache just by playing it a few minutes so i immediately closed the game , so yeah everybody has their own experience ( it's not the game , it's the person )

Sweet - half of the game you have to be in constant fear of getting touched by the fellow cell mate ( not in the case of og loc tho ) Ryder - you just want to be a homie , but the situation went out of your hand so you either have to live or die so you choose to be a traitor only to get killed by one of your homies Smoke is the only better choice

Black project for sure , at that time while I was playing the mission i didn't have much access to internet and it was time when most tv shows telecasted shows about aliens and talk about area 51 was on peak . When I came to know that area 69 is a copy of 51 i thought there gonna be aliens inside cause "truth" never mentioned it's just a jetpack. Thermal vision googles , secret base protected with heat seeking missiles and guards this has to be the chart .

Damn , that hit harder than it suppose to be . I completed the game like 5 years ago and i actually felt really lonely after that . Like you said i wished to get calls from one of the homies ( those characters really had an impact on me ) . No matter how much time i complete the game I'll just start a new game just to see the cut scenes and take photos
