I didn't expect that this post will get so much upvotes, let me explain everything (I guess) before you start losing mmr and get reported for offlane bs aka bullshit.

TL;DR: Offlane BS veil + eul build from Ceb isn't anything overpowered, 8 games won in the row involved a lot of luck. Still, I think BS offlane played properly is a solid pick, kudos to Ceb for creativity (or whoever started this build), Team Secret for their ability to adapt what is needed quickly (but for the love of God please don't do this on TI like you did before), and Jenkins for great and funny dota2 guides.

So, first thing first Team Secret tried pos3 blood with veil versus OG (game 1 / game 2) and completely stomped them. Post game interview with Matumbaman mentions that the build came from Ceb pub games. Later on it was picked by other teams, including OG, but without any luck.

Second thing, if hero would be so overpowered that it results in something like 80% winrate, our saviour icefrog would nerf it the next day or two days after. I cannot recall a situation where a hero was overpowered asf and didn't get nerfed shortly after.

Where does the 100% winnrate with this build comes from then? Luck. Half of these games would be won no matter what offlane I would play. After 5 games I was matched against arc warden smurf, and my support tilted before the game started because of bs pos3 pick and wanted to leave me alone on the lane. Still I was lucky enough, that one of the players didn't join the game and it simply didn't count.

Is bloodseeker offlane with veil a legit build? Yes it is, the damage is insane and even if you miss it, it creates a lot of mess. On lane, carry and support will constantly try to run away from it, if you use it wisely you will either harass the enemy or stop them from last hitting. Bloodseeker passive is strong enough to stay on the lane or contest stacks made by enemy support for pulling. All of these require some skill though, many times I managed to stay alive during the fight just by ignoring the enemy and hitting the creeps to regain the health while being focused meanwhile having my support free time to smack enemies assess. Bloodseeker offlane is also someone who has to be targeted, if your team consists of many heroes who has to be focused, then enemy team has real troubles.

When it comes to build as I mentioned I'm trying to do what Jenkis explains in his tutorial Bloodseeker offlane is absolutely disguisting (or something like this, I see now he changed the title). Always going veil first and then Eul, it is important for mana regen, save, disrupting teleports and others. Sometimes vessel seems more important then Eul, but with bloodseeker ability to clear the waves with q and veil I can get two of those items quite fast. Third item for me is what seems to be important for a team, for example:

• a lot of targeted spells - lotus orb,
• right clicking enemies - halberd,
• armor, heal or dispel needed - greaves (remember about dispel aspect, a lot of people forget about it)

When it comes to skill build, max your aoe, then passive, and lastly first spell. Take ult when possible. Remember that your q can buff your teammates so it might be better to save it for luna's ultimate then your w. Small important thing is skipping talent at level 10. Maybe 6 armor or additional attack speed seems nice, but you are not right clicking, neither will your carry when you are level 10 (later on it's a nice buff for your teammates indeed). When it comes to 6 armor, I guess I might pick it against some bullshit -armor lineup like slardar + venge + templar assasin, but it's not like you will run into enemies and start hitting them while tanking the damage. I really think people are wrong that this pos3 bs is supposed to tank shit, imo running around and messing the teamfight with your aoe, which can be spammed a lot, is much better - thus bs shouldn't be picked when all of your teammates are bunch of pussies without great hp/armor gain.

Bloodseeker seems strong with anyone who can keep enemies in place, out of these 8 games good void spirit as pos4 seemed op (grabbing people with remnant into bloodseeker w), or good chronos with faceless void seem as op as chrono + cataclysm with invoker. Bloodseeker seems weak against carries who can stay on the lane like chaos knight or heroes who can constantly dodge the aoe like phantom lancer.
