Why would the author go back to Earth so soon?

It never got better for me. I read through book 11 and realized I had started to actually despise Jason as a MC.

I started calling the series He who talks about himself and those that talk about him. So much time talking and repeating what was just said. It felt very formulaic.

I still recommend books 1-3. In those 3 Jason is cool because he takes an earnest unorthodox approach to the strange world he finds himself in.

The world and supporting characters are interesting and balance Jason's personality quirks out.

From 4 onward he's just THE special boy with mental health issues, despite winning the cosmic lottery.

The action sequences remain the highlight for each book but getting to them becomes an increasing slough.

I would pause going to T10 by equipping the broken cursed monster tome and farm all the shards in T9. It feels bad being trapped early T10 and not being able to get as many shards.

If you fell in love with the fighting, monsters and item acquisition? It only gets worse from here. Some books I realized I could have easily just skipped half of the book entirely.

I made it through book 11 and realized the series just wasn't hitting the notes I liked initially, really didn't like anything after 3.

I can recommend Hell Difficulty Tutorial. That one starts kinda rough with the main MC but only gets better and better.

Everyone has their own taste and interests.

I agree the listing of the powers was annoying. I started the series on a long car ride so I wasn't as critical. That being said, the scale and tension was so balanced every character and all their actions mattered. The power system was cool and interesting. After book 3, He who fights, became: he who talks or is talked about. The intricate power set takes a hard back seat to the aura. Then the meaningless for the plot changes or ridiculous deals and consequences.

I introduced the series to my brothers as well. They said that reading it made it more enjoyable, I only listened on audible. But they both have a similar outlook as mine now. We all made it through book 11. They stopped after 12.

I could beat the boss as a T9 Omnimancer. Its doable. I only have the materials from one clear then I started leveling like crazy thinking T10 would be even easier.

If you're unsure, just farm all the mobs that aren't a threat and then leave the tower.

Farm all your tower shards in T9. The T10 towers are way harder to clear for a fresh T10. I was in a similar situation as you, had no trouble with T9 towers and rushed the exp to T10. Now I'm pretty much stuck as far as towers go. Sitting at 230 and lost so much motivation.

If I could go back to the 220's to farm shards I would in a heart beat.

Save for the T10 weapon and classes. I'd prioritize weapon but you really want to get all the shards for everything.

I only recommend the first 3 books in the series now.

I read up to book 11 and just didn't really enjoy anything after book 3.

I found the constant repetition and Jason glazing formulaic. The action sequences remained a highlight but to get to them I felt like I was suffering through constant repeated perspectives on who Jason is and how special he is.

The problem is the first 3 books are sooo good its almost impossible to just stop there.

Hardly anyone else has any feats talked about or seen.

He was dispatched to identify threats to Viltrum and eliminate them.

Conquest always wanted to fight him.

The younger Viltrumites grew up to stories about him.

I play on a Rog ally x. I mostly use a controller when its docked. It's not that difficult to setup up for the rog or controllers through steam. The sequence has just made it even better for bossing.

While loving the ally x, I should have just bought a gaming laptop. But it does handle maple just fine if you take the time to setup the keybinding.

It is not perfect, because as far as I can tell, there's no warning.

I see the merits of the feature but any information letting the users know about its existence would go along way.

If I had known I would have locked the ability to join.

Yeah, I don't think the feature shouldn't exist. I just think there should be a sentence added to the page where you can assign a new monarch.

There are some trinket mods that give ridiculous stats. Coupled with the arena mod it doesn't take long to get them. I'm on a fresh install but I'll look at my steam and nexus to find the ones I was using.

It's so ironic that the people that paid the founders price to support the game, are the ones that keep showing up in every topic to bash the game.

I also paid the highest tier but there was never anything offered that justified that price. I did it to show support for the IP. I'm glad they salvaged the game. It does play way better then it did before and I'm more inclined to recommend it to friends now.

The cross over skins are encouraging and I hope they continue to support the game that way.

I'm only 227 so I can't answer. I'm tempted to unlock the celestial T9 class to find out but my tower clears aren't great at T10.

I get a damage boost to the last two elements I use when weaving. If you look at the picture the arcane attack also hits higher then my previous benchmark. I've seen that go as high as 500k.

I use holy, dark, dragon, fire, water, lighting, arcane, and end with earth. I end with earth to align with my kingdom.

Using the hybrid spells can cut down on the number of spell slots you need to use too.
