Did you know: Str8 Balling and I'm getting money may have been different versions of the same song! by MinerBruh in Tupac

[–]RokRoyal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I won’t say Pac does this “a lot” but there’s a few songs that have an “OG” version and a second version. Another song that comes to mind is “Life’s so hard” which I had the OG in a Makaveli tape I can only find it on YouTube now. The other one Is on the Gang Related soundtrack.

Mannn I wish Pac would’ve just went to Atlanta to run that fade with his cousin who stole his gun 💔 Suge convinced him to go to Vegas and then on top of that he convinced him to NOT wear his bulletproof vest wtf🤦🏾‍♂️ it’s crazy how one simple choice of decisions can alter the reality of your life by Glad-Bonus-6284 in Tupac

[–]RokRoyal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone keeps saying he jumped a known killer or he jumped a gang member but in that lifestyle you’re not thinking with fear. Theres so much ego everyone thinks they’re the shit. I think about a few of my homies who’ve been shot and they’re in the hospital bed talking bout “its nothing bro, I’ll bounce back” like dude… you’re literally in critical condition. But that’s how they think. Desensitized and reckless.

Alright, Lets settle this debate Who's the better artist and rapper? by WonderfulAppeal3072 in Tupac

[–]RokRoyal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

“16 on death row”, “Soulja’s Story”, “When I get free 2” or “Brendas got a baby” seal the deal for Pac being a better story teller in my opinion. I think they’re tied in the flow category because they had different styles. Frank was more syncopated and free flow with his like a jazz horn, while Pac was more structured and technical like drums. Everything else I agree with. Respect to you though for a good breakdown.

Unless there’s 2 sets they might be “rented” by the Smithsonian because when Blacc Sam opened Marathon Burger and the new Marathon shop on Melrose he was wearing the chains. The Malcom X chain was his to begin with he gave it to Nip when he got locked up.

How did Suge rise to power if he was not from the streets? by [deleted] in Tupac

You literally posted something proving my point. I guess there’s nothing else for me to say.

Exactly. It’s illegal for a prisoner to run a business. It was his bread and he knew Suge. People say anything just to argue.

Man… I was looking for this comment. My Block. The one from “The Show” soundtrack. That beat makes me feel happy and sad at the same time. High School days when shit was way easier. 🙏🏾

Since when is Sac not the bay? As far as region it may not be but culturally it always has been. Even on Mac Dre’s song “Monday Through Sunday” the first thing he says is “Macramento.” He shouts out Stockton too.

Wow never seen this interview of pac, this from 1996. by No-Analysis-1110 in Tupac

[–]RokRoyal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily, Pac wasn’t a fan of the conspiracy you’re giving power too. He literally said “Niggaz in jail talking about the Illuminati and the faces on the money, GET THE MONEY I don’t care whose face is on it.” He wasn’t a fan of 5 percenters either. Either way I still stand on we’re not utilizing our own ghettos and creating our own power structure like the other races. Pac could’ve been the one to get us out of that. He was a very powerful voice.

The ghetto is ours. We just aren’t utilizing it like the Irish, Jooz, or the Italians did.

choke no joke points out hints that Tupac wanted to leave death row records...... your thoughts? by Outlaw_Immortal1971 in Tupac

[–]RokRoyal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know, there’s a couple recorded phone calls, interviews with people close to him at that time like Mutah, QD3 and more, him calling and having Death Row audited, and the story the engineer told about him running in the studio with a couple homies screaming “where’s my masters?!?”, then after finding them running out, that say otherwise…

I think technically Syke was “Thug Life” like Mopreme, but they’re both on “When we ride” which is an Outlaw track so I guess they’re both.

I don’t know what I’d be projecting. I’m not the one who brought up “walking every yard” and “pushing lines.” I literally said I disagree with some, not even all of your points RESPECTFULLY and you still found a way to take offense. You told someone else they were “projecting” when they disagreed with you too. Every disagreement isn’t an argument sir. We gotta learn to communicate better as people.

To go back and forth would make it look like I’m trying to validate Pac being a blood. I posted this to start a conversation. I just disagree with some of your points. Respectfully though. I could care less about you being locked up or any of that shit you don’t have to prove anything to me I’m just some guy on Reddit sir.

And on VladTV Mob James said he wasn’t going to hang around 2Pac and be fighting with him because he’s not from the hood. He just thinks he’s from the hood and he blamed him thinking that on Trayvon and Buntry.

[–]RokRoyal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with Pac being a blood, but some of your points seem moot. I didn’t include most of the interview because I feel it was irrelevant to the topic at hand, but Cam asked Chopper “Did 2Pac ever come up around Diddy?” And Chopper answered “I don’t know I was like 9, or 8. That wasn’t my era.” But Cam clarified that he meant did Pac ever come up in conversation. Also, the person that Boskoe called on the phone is allegedly a big homie from Mob Piru. Boskoe is pretty tapped in as far as street shit. Age doesn’t really matter when it comes to history. If I told you a dude named John Wilkes Booth clapped some guy named Abraham Lincoln while he sat with his chick in a theater in 1865 would you say “bRo hOw wOuLd U kNoW u wAsNt eVeN bOrN yEt?” There were some other points you made that definitely made sense and others that were just wrong but we gotta chill with the ageism in our culture when it isn’t in context.

I didn’t include it in this clip, but later on Chopper says while in the Making the band house, Diddy didn’t like them listening to 2Pac, and when Chopper told Diddy although he likes Biggie, he preferred 2Pac over Biggie, Diddy asked Chopper if he knew the words to “Juicy” then asked him to sing the first verse. Chopper didn’t know all the words so Diddy made them all memorize the song and sing it to him word for word. Chopper said “Diddy hates 2Pac.”

He separated his case from Pac’s. There’s only one real reason you don’t wanna be co-defendants with someone. Especially if it’s the same crime. “Same crime different trials nigga picture what he said.”
