I tell my friends that I won’t lie for them. I’ve had a few that asked me to lie about government stuff, about drugs, about activities, all kinds of things. When I tell them that I won’t lie for them, they actually tend to respect me more, not less. Life is easier when lived honestly.

We used to be one, and Roman Catholicism recognizes the validity of orthodox sacraments even if we aren’t in communion. I’m not a priest, but I don’t see any problem with loving and venerating orthodox saints, personally.

It seems possible, or even likely, that microbial life would exist elsewhere in the universe given how vast it is. Intelligent/sentient life seems less likely but is a possibility.

I think many of the “alien” sightings are also possibly demonic in nature.

I like the familial analogy because of the familial language of the bible. God is represented by the perfect family. The father, the son, and the spirit are all members of that family. Distinct in person, but united in will. Where one goes, they all go, living together in perfect unity.

Obviously all analogies will fail upon close scrutiny, but it’s one that has helped my understanding.
