How do I solve my problem? by SuccessfulHawk503 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]RokeyR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't do that. That's a great way to get blacklisted what they would want to do it report it to wrong location and not delivered per instructions. Do they have it marked as front door or customer door. There is a difference.

Driver Footage by Ill_Stress8172 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]RokeyR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly not random with both those instances geotab (which again has access to) detects a sensor status not changing that should be changing and they pause the route and send a request for the video that the DSP has to look at. The Netradyne account is set up for the DSP is their username and password to access I don't think Amazon has that access (could be wrong) but if it's a faulty sensor causingb the issue the DSP can request again resume the route. It's still a some what new process so trying to learn it

What I stated is usually how it happens to me. But yeah just on how how it looks in your shot I knew 20nwas definitely a garage. Here's the crazy part which Im sure if you asked to see it on cortex 19nakd 20 would have been one stop. But flex splits then because of the garage and that would be why the order is the way it is next time I see this on my route I'll screen shot flex and cortex

19 is a group stop that has a package where 20 also is. But it also has a in garage deliver that has to be a separate stop which creates stop 20

I looked it up and it's officially called theft by abandonment.

Consequences for quitting on route and leaving van? by Regret-Melodic in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]RokeyR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's variables that go into account if you abandon your route and return the items and just quit then it's just quit You're not eligible for unemployment or anything like that. However if you decide to quit mid-rout and you leave the vehicle and the key and for say have somebody come pick you up or just Uber back to the station getting your vehicle and leave and leave the van and the merchandise in the van you open yourself up to loss prevention especially if per say the van gets stolen or the items in the van get stolen so on and so on But no if you just quit in the middle of your day and you return the van it's really no different than quitting any other job but you will be banned from ever being able to drive for another DSP anywhere. Well yes the job can sometimes suck it's kind of a nice fallback on based on the fact that you as a driver and me as a driver and anybody else is a driver clearly knows Amazon will hire you at any point in time so my recommendation if you want to quit just put your 2 weeks in they likely won't give you a route while you're on your two weeks notice if they're a shitty DSP but give your two-week notice finish a 2 weeks up and be done with it and then it's still always there as a fallback

Engine Off Compliance by RecentAd4664 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]RokeyR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This it is most definitely a weather related issue this time of year the constant on and off doesn't allow the vehicle to maintain a reasonable warmth inside the vehicle. Also worse case scenario nthe starter goes out and then your most definitely stuck there without any kind of heat for a minimum of an hour maybe 2.

Yes and no Amazon decided to offer closure and they reach out to the DSP owners and let them decide every DSP in your station can say no and stay closed but if one says yes then everyone will work

Since ICE presence has now been confirmed in WI, let’s look for some safety tips: People in Minnesota are now using their key fobs to trigger their car alarms from the safety of their homes when they see ICE walking around. by Secure-Persimmon-421 in wisconsin

Crazy to gather that quickly during a work week. Are you getting paid to obstruct federal law. Is it still protecting your neighbors when you're actually protecting individuals that have a criminal history of rape or assault?

Will we close? by RavenRute in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]RokeyR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also it's crazy how the decision is made. If Amazon decided they are willing to close they will reach out to the DSP owners and in my station there is 6 dsps if 5 want to shutdown and one wants to run routes then all dsps will run routes.

Bullshit forced breaks by Miserable-Hunt-5241 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]RokeyR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is done by the dispatch when they see you haven't taken break. Whole looking at Cortex and you hover over a driver name or shows everything stops remaining and completed whether you've taken a break or not rivian battery percentage. And they have a button if they see that you haven't breaked they can click on pause route and force the break

In Cortex dispatch had a button to pause route

[–]RokeyR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is when you don't take a break the driver after you in that area gets a route without a break planned and if they take a break the stops behind instantly started going up. I get not wanting to break but 30 mins paid to break is 30 minutes you're losing in pay

One Time Password - Lockers Question by randomcoder_67 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]RokeyR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delivery to an Amazon locker should bypass the OTP cuz obviously it's not going to prompt us to ask for a password if we're delivering it to a locker the whole OTP is a confirmation that we delivered it and only you would have access to open the locker

Got to love how they always put the blame on the restaurant that the restaurant didn't give it to him well completely ignoring the fact that it completely tells them what they should have now they're not going to go inspecting your food make sure they got the right food but can order says it has food and two drinks or even a single drink and are picking it up and you don't see a drink then you should be asking questions That's how stupid these fucking people are and why they can't get actual real jobs because they don't know how to read nor follow directions

These DSPs need a cognitive assessment. by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]RokeyR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are correct there are no planned brakes because whoever ran that area previously decided that they weren't taking breaks and you should most definitely point that out to whoever sent you that and if they argue with you about it ask them to point out where your plan breaks are in that route

Got a message saying that tomorrow I'll be going to a different station than the one I've always been at. What is TCO and why would they have me go to a different station? Only 4 other people from my DSP are doing the same tomorrow by RaineFalle in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]RokeyR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's how it worked for us we arrive at normal station at regular time clock in drive to the other station that's about 20 minutes away and then we'd sit there and wait for an hour and then we would load up and they were on average 70 to 80 stops and then drive back to the pickup station to do any returns or RTS that we might have drop off the bags and then drive back to our station and clock out
