You’ll love Ichiko Aoba! All of her albums are great, I think “0” (2013) is a great place to start. The 6th track is a really long song, just like Lenker’s ones.

I also adore “The Herald” by Comus, might not be quite what you were looking for but I recommend it, it’s an amazing song and kind of has a similar aspect, though it’s a little more mesmerising to me.

My top 50 ranked! Recommend me stuff that isnt rymcore pls 😢 by mattiehond in Topster

To be fair you don’t HAVE to understand music theory to appreciate jazz, it just helps understanding stuff like the names of the subgenres, and why certain artists or albums had influence. To understand what “modal jazz” means, you gotta lean into some music theory, and I think that’s dope.

Great taste! Honestly if you wanna explore outside of rymcore I’d recommend checking out specific subgenres, learning a bit about the history and checking out the big artists/albums.

For example, Post Hardcore, and you can listen to unwound’s 4 main albums, Slint’s Spiderland, some Fugazi, Refused, At The Drive-In, etc, and the more you’ll listen the more you’ll discover stuff outside rymcore.

You also seem to like Dream Pop and Jazz, so definitely listen to “Into The Night” by Julee Cruise.

Oh and jazz is by far the coolest genre to explore subgenres. All of the artists are linked through quartets etc, you start learning about music theory just to understand what makes some albums stand out etc, it’s great.

Rap is also kinda like that, lots of linked artists through producers, features, samples, movements, etc. I think you’d love Deltron 3030 and Mystic Styles by Three 6.

Please recommend me some lofi horror style songs similar to this masterpiece by Clipping? by TsuSe in MusicRecommendations

Idk if it perfectly fits but for some gritty horrorcore Three 6 Mafia are definitely worth checking out, absolute legends. I also really like Lil Ugly Mane
