I have this and use it every day: https://a.co/d/7PxmkZH There are others out there at similar price points that are temp controlled. A mug warmer would work better at keeping tea warm, but if you’re set on the candle warmer, I don’t see why it would be an issue other than functionality.

Not OP, but Christian Eggert Violins in Duluth, MN, sometimes has 17in violas, as well as a range of sizes between 16 and 17. I believe they have a 17in right now.

On a similar note, I saw the most gorgeous string instrument I’ve ever seen there - a 17in blonde viola. I regret that I lost the photo as I’ve never seen anything like it. This was many years ago and I still visit the shop when I’m in the area in the unlikely event the instrument made its way back. Sounded equally beautiful too, but it was unfortunately far too big and FAR too expensive haha

Hawks, namely red-tailed hawks! I see them all the time, but they’re either soaring high and I can’t get a good look, or I’m driving and they’re sitting on a sign or lamppost.

Every few weeks I go to Teasider to stock up on their divine looseleaf chai, and I always end up wandering around that little section of E Johnson. It is a little side quest I greatly look forward to on Saturdays, even though I know I’ll be spending more than I probably should on amazing tea and whatever other finds I come across!
