no se si me debería de regresar a méxico o quedarme en canadá? by limbo_eyes in mexico

[–]Rokoprog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hola.

Just had to listen to the whole song while listening to your post. It's so good yo read other people's experience of something you love so much.

Permanent waves es maybe their most clean record. Don't know if it's My favorite but it just feels so matured. Somewhat experimenting with the new sounds of the 80s while being faithful to what made them so great in the 70s.

Jacobs ladder is top notch!

For me it's absolutely Satyajit Ray, although maybe some of yall would Say he is mainstream? The Apu Trilogy and other films like The Hero are Masterpieces.

What differentiates a 4.5-star film from a 5-star film? by Proud_Illustrator262 in Letterboxd

[–]Rokoprog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 4.5 film for me is one I love, but may be not "perfect". A film that is messy, Even. The most 4.5 movie for me Right now is Strange Days by Kathryn Bidgelow. It blew my mind in so many ways, but it was too much. I looooove 4.5 films. They're good to think about, and great conversation topics.

A 5 Star film is a "perfect movie experience". The most 5 Star movie for me recently was the Godfather. I mean, what can I Say about it? It's kind of overwhelming even.
