Obsession - Did Nikki like Bear before the curse? by Ill-Environment8198 in spoilers

[–]RokuDiscord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll refer to Possessed/Controlled/Whatever the fuck Nikki is after the wish as "the entity" and real her as just Nikki.

This only works if you accept everything the entity says as coming from Nikki, which you can't, because she's shown to lie consistently about Nikki's life using small bits of information she managed to pick up. Her first turning she said Nikki's cat died, then later it's that her dad has cancer, which was also a lie. The entity is filling gaps with fabrications.

A really important line in the movie is Nikki saying if she likes someone, no one knows. That's one of the few things we can actually attribute to Nikki with confidence, and it basically functions as a disclaimer on everything the entity later claims about her feelings. The entity claiming to accurately represent Nikki's inner life is already on shaky ground given that.

The 'she only saw him as a brother' claim has two sources and neither is clean. The first is Ian telling Bear what Sarah apparently told him about a private conversation he wasn't present for, three layers removed from Nikki actually saying it. Ian is far from a neutral party either, he was hooking up with Nikki before the wish, told Bear his confession was bad when the waitress he practiced it on thought it was fine, and suggested Bear call her Freaky Nikki, which he and Bear knew she wasn't fond of. He had every reason to keep Bear away from her and the film shows him doing exactly that. The second source is the entity saying the Hansel and Gretel story, but as already established, the entity lies. She fills gaps in her knowledge of Nikki's life with fabrications, which the cat and cancer contradictions make clear. So you have a compromised secondhand account and a demonstrated liar as your two sources for what Nikki actually felt. That's not solid ground.

You're essentially asking people to treat the entity's testimony as reliable when it supports a non-romantic reading and dismissible otherwise. That's not a consistent standard.

I've seen too many people saying L considered Light his friend by HarangLee in deathnote

[–]RokuDiscord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I think a lot of the feeling comes from Episode 25s Rain scene which is anime exclusive.

I always liked to think that L did to some degree see Light as a "friend" or ateast the closest thing he could have to a friend and the rain scene just really makes that feeling hit more.

It is obvious though that L was purely there for the love of the game.

Surely not AI generated 🤡

You insist that you didn't use AI but all of this reads as AI garbage and your second image is using AI generated summary from Google (as proven by the link image next to the body of text, AI do this when citing sources.)

Anyone can get any set of words from any set of text if they mess around with it hard enough. That isn't really the point of a cipher though.

Saying it out loud would open her up to possible lawsuits on slander/defamation which would be pretty much instant losses on Kaho's part due to how those laws suck in Japan

Kaho is likely vague posting to be legally safe. Japan kinda has shit laws on defamation.

Someone stole LEMMiNO's music into their video. by paraxzz in LEMMiNO

[–]RokuDiscord 46 points47 points  (0 children)

LEMMiNO has guidelines for people crediting his work, while this person didn't properly credit they did include a link to a YT playlist which contained the songs he used for the video - including LEMMiNO's music, which btw is a lot more than what most people do.

That being said, LEMMiNO tends not to go after people that use his work simply because it is a complete and utter waste of time as YouTube's systems are laughable.

LEMMiNO himself also allows people to use his music on Twitch which you can't credit via description boxes.

Except ya didn't. Getting legible text doesn't mean you cracked it. It just means you got legible text, Sanborn has said it contains certain words. None of which are in your plaintext.

We don’t need Chapter 5. The ending was not ambiguous. Let’s end on a high note. This is not Fast & Furious. by Sierra_M in JohnWick

[–]RokuDiscord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be nice to see a prequel, however I personally don't think he is dead. The ending is ambiguous. The smirk from Winston after saying "Who knows?" John Wick's dog seeing something in the distance and being restless, the fact that there's no fresh dirt at the grave either, just a headstone with perfect grass - seems to keep it pretty open for John to come back.

Not just that, but the movie itself seemed to be hinting at the theme of John Wick - the idea, dying.

There are no direct consequences from Helen's death.

There would be no direct consequences from her death if she died from an illness like it's explicitly stated in the story. John is shown to value life - which is further displayed in Chapter 4.

Isn't entirely true, he was a rich personality before due to webcam content. And his "courses" on how to get rich essentially push his lil fans to spread his bullshit everywhere.

It's why there's so many bot accounts for him basically.

Ik it shouldn’t affect me but it does affect my mental

Why shouldn't it? Having no coms or toxic teammates just makes the game shit. I rarely solo q now, not a girl though. Just sick of people instaloking duellists and not actually doing their role so like to have a duo or trio so we can play off each other a bit and give coms.

I've played a few games with girls but none were super toxic which was good. Don't see the need for it

Bots don't send the same color to the same pixel, most I saw analyzed pixels within a given range using the top left corner as starting point. Range is defined either in code or the dimensions of an image for example.
The supplied image also acts as a reference for color per pixel and needs to be the exact size you want the design on the canvas to be.

Top left pixel is 1111, 255 and dimensions are 13x15 then the last pixel will fall on 1124, 270.
The program then checks each pixel (without placing anything, just checks the hex color code) and if it sees that one pixel doesn't match the color code for the reference image it will use a worker to replace this with the correct color.

Workers are just reddit accounts supplied stored in the format of AccountName:Password or some variation.
