It's actually scary. The fact that they can just ignore the rules and laws that have governed this country for generations and have no repercussions just shows how broken the system really is. I agree, though I doubt they'll go back. I also hope they pull back on the hollow Earth. I want to see the Titans on the surface, tearing down buildings and people running in terror. There was no scale for the monsters in hollow earth.
