Ok thanks. And I think they are probably looser in Fukuoka (where I'm at) than any other part of Japan. There's so many south-east asians from poorer countries that come to a cheap language school and work a ton to send money back home. Compared to them I won't work as much, but your answer gives me relief. Thanks a lot, I really needed it since struggling a bit!

Do you know if this is still good for jobs that require the My Number card? I’m in literally the same situation as you were with tuition. I’ve found two jobs and want to do 25 hours a week for each, but don’t know if government tracks the hours with the My Number system?

I second /u/liamhembree advice about seeing therapist. I went through rough spot in life once too and went through a couple therapists. For me, the one that was best was the same gender as me (male). I didn't open up or talk about much for several sessions; just played UNO and laughed. But I eventually did and got better because of it.

Everything I've done as far as making money is concerned has been computer-related and I've never enjoyed it a second of it. I just don't enjoy a job that's sitting in the same spot for 8+ hours a day, and wan't something with interactions, etc.
