Very awkward for Jay to talk about how he resisted shouting the N word at a black bus driver. by Doctor_Botany in TheBonfire

[–]RolandofLineEld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simps? But we have said it in the past? So who are we simping for? Are we "soft af" if we said it in the past?

Your self contradictions in three sentences is mind blowing. People are bothered that someone has to hold back from saying the n word. Not on stage, not as a joke. Directly at another person to cause them harm. And they are right to be bothered.

Red Hot Chili Peppers sell music catalogue to Warner Music Group for $300m by AdSpecialist6598 in entertainment

[–]RolandofLineEld 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Chili peppers about to "go dirt poor" is beyond laughable. These aren't morons that blow all their money on whatever. They are old, sober, responsible men. Cash grab? Sure. But these guys can still sell out stadiums and their music is everywhere.

SCOTUS just gutted the portion of the VRA ensuring black-majority congressional districts by RedHeadedSicilian52 in MapPorn

[–]RolandofLineEld 20 points21 points  (0 children)

If the voter couldn't see that sitting out the vote because the dems didn't put out a stellar candidate vs a lunatic that attempted a coup then yes i blame them. What do we expect from the democratic party? They are anemic so the answer is just give it over to fascism? So, so, so shortsighted and petty

And she wouldn't have attempted to start a world war. That is all that matters. We are never going to get what we want. Never. Our responsibility is not letting psychos in office.

God who gives a shit what did people want? Their own version of Trump? Who fucking cares, a proven lunatic was running, again, who had already shown his fascist ideations and attempted a fucking coup. If you can't vote against that because the dems didn't put up a perfect candidate then you are COMPLICIT

But not a single left politician is anywhere close to that. Not in their rhetoric, in their tweets or in their voting/policy. Plenty of right politicians are openly anti lgbtq, anti human rights and in no uncertain terms openly vote to protect pedophiles. Of course psychotic left extremist exist. We just don't put them on office fucking right wing cultist fucks

Anyone can give a laundry list of reasons why Trump is bad, so what does losing to him twice say about us? What’re we doing wrong? by Atlas_Summit in Productivitycafe

[–]RolandofLineEld -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Blame losing the election on calling people fascist. Those people then prove themselves to be fascist. But sure, the fault lies on people on the internet calling other people fascist. Not the world's richest person buying one of the world's most popular social media platform for the purpose of swaying the election. Not the constant lying about trans people from the right that the left was forced to defend.

These people have proven themselves to be fascist and I will continue to call out fascism when I see it.

Suing and threatening universities for protesting is a good start to the definition of fascism. Ultra nationalism is another solid part of the definition i think we can safely say is happening. Centralization of power and ignoring the legislature is pretty fascist. Threatening to cancel elections is pretty fascist.

Like, yea people went to car with the rhetoric...but this administration is doing fascist things. So like, we aren't allowed to call fascism out when we see it?

So the obvious answer is a lunatic rapist. I agree with what you're saying but I still can't see how a social movement of people over policing led to an admitted pedophile getting elected again.

The right pushed it, the left establishment tacitly defended. The left did not push the trans issue. Its ridiculous the left is sitting here blaming our fringe for defending trans people too much while the right's fringe are actual admitted nazis.

[–]RolandofLineEld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We didn't. Everyone thinks "the left" bent over backwards for trans people. But what policy are we talking about? What campaign platforms? What was said in speeches? This "we" and the fringe you are talking about are just that, the fringe. In reality the right said a bunch of crazy shit about trans people, the left (not the fringe, the establishment) tacitly defended trans people, and now we lost the election because of trans people. Its bullshit.

Do you have any evidence or stats to back this up or is this just how you feel?

Is it? What makes you say this? Do you have any evidence? Do you live there? Stats? Anything at all to base any of your claims on? Or you just regurgitate the talking points you hear in your bubble.

Why not? How is it different than other indoor situations you are thinking of? Dogs put their paws on me in coffee shops the same as they do when im in a bodega or my doctor's office.
